Hey love! In this week’s video, I’m showcasing my current twist out routine. Can you believe I haven’t done one all year?! I was happy with the results, especially since I now have a curly cut, so I hope you like them too. I also open up in this video about some of the “mean girl” shenanigans that went down during fashion week, and how it made my feel. Not to mention some of my current struggles. The “curl enhancing smoothie” has never worked for me due to the high glycerin content and my living here in swampy New Orleans: the humidity in this town is no joke! I’ve had great success, though, with the Mielle brand “twisting soufflé”: You might wanna give it a try for those high-humidity days where you live. Love you bunches!

Most sisterhoods are a fallacy. And I’m saying that as someone with great girlfriends. I’m sorry that was part of your experience. Honestly, I’ve stopped following MOST influencers, femininity content girls, etc because I can tell these women are mean lol. All you have to do is look at how they respond to people in comments and behave! A lot of them are not who they think they are anyways. I’m that girl in real life💜. I don’t idolize or live vicariously through their lives. I think part of this is why these women still have a following, yet they treat their following/ anyone who they may deem as beneath them with no respect.

Unfortunately as a black girl when you go to some social events, it be the other black girls that are mean to you. Sigh. I watched a lot of the NY fashion week content and noticed some girls were kinda shady towards each other. Like posting pics or video with people but not mentioning the person or tagging them. Make sure that you NEVER allow mistreatment from someone to color how you feel about yourself. Don't give them the satisfaction. Keep going. You create wonderful content. Don't forget that.
