Hi, I bought my very first Triumph after 40 years owning all sorts of bikes. I, too, went for the Bobber. 2019, with only 1400 miles on the clock. Bought it in December 2023, so I haven't done much riding as yet. Like your bike, I tried moving the mirrors under the bars. Found it very awkward, so I moved them back. Have to admit that they look better underneath though. Ride safe.

Great vid, I’m looking to get a new Bobber and either give it to TH and rinse a fortune, mega depreciation too, so will do it myself and get all the parts I would like on it . You’ve given me food for thought with the shorty rear guard but I’m a fair weather rider only tbh. Your exhaust sounds fab, paint job stunning, great all round 👍

i put a Wilbers shock (made for my weight) and Motone seat on my bobber, it's a way more comfy and looks good, but expensive...

Hey, brilliant bike mate. What was the issue with fitting the bar end indicators? I want to fit them to mine but if its a real pain i think i will find an alternative.

Thanks mate. They’re not bad, you have to drill the bars then find a decent way to connect them to the original indicator power, I ended up using small wago boxes.

Great looking Bobber with some nice mods, well done! Are you on the Triumph Bobber Forum if so what’s your handle? Mk1s are the best I have one too and I love it, top tip for the lack lustre brakes (if you haven’t already) - Replace the pads with EBC Sintered HH pads they might not improve absolute stopping power much but the feel and the initial bite is night and day, best bang for buck mod you can do! If you’re in this area a lot I’m surprised I haven’t seen you down Matlock I only live a few miles up the road.

Thanks mate! I’m not, I always stuck in the Facebook groups. I haven’t yet changed the pads but that’s definitely worth doing for the small cost! I don’t get into Matlock too much, I try and go around it most of the time 😂. Ride safe!

@@James_Rides The Triumph Bobber Forum isn’t Facebook it’s a separate thing, just Google it you’ll find it but hey I know online forums aren’t for everyone. And I’m glad you like the idea of the HH sintered pads I promise you won’t be disappointed - ride safe.

just doing the back end of mine, going with motone stuff, pico indicators, using there wiring loom add, shorth mudguard, what make of numberplate holder have you got m8, i have one but want one with light. i got my 2017 one with 2k on the clock from Doncaster, best bike ever rode.

They really are unbelievable! White rose customs.. it’s an absolute no brainer, great looking, decent price and wired in light so it’s MOT compliant (with a properly sized plate). Enjoy!

Did the bike need a remap after the decat?

Nope.. the ecu has its own little mapping mode, you basically leave it running for 20 minutes to recalibrate. It isn’t perfect but close enough 💪🏼

@@tombud666 I wouldn’t say it’s a big bike.. but it’s absolutely fine for what it is. I wouldn’t tour on it but for out and about hooning it’s great!
