How do you adapt the throttle cable? My is running from a thumb throttle push out, down to carb which want a pull back cable. Opposites

Been a while man. I believe I used a landing gear wheel holder from rc airplanes to hold the cable. I just used things which was laying around but easy way was just to crimp a wire housing around the cable and solder it. 👍

I'm not trying to be an ass but that thing looks extra heavy. How long or many miles you getting from the drive tire? Been wanting to build one as well but probably use a HarborFrieght Clonda engine.

Phil Lowman lol your right it was big and clunky I didn't want it to brake. I also didn't want it to light either if the tire would spin out in the back. this was mainly for testing. If I were to do this again it would be less bulky. For the rear tire I used a old moped tire from a junk yard. I've seen lots of people out there that there tire gets bald very quickly so I used this one so it would last longer.

great build... i am concerned a bit about the large sprocket being so close to the ground. What do you think about raising engine so that frame strikes objects first and not sprocket.

It’s not too bad reason I had it lower was to have a lower centre of gravity below the wheel shaft if not I would have the motor too high and it would be top heavy creating a high speed wobble hope this helps

Great job, i was planing to build one my self this summer but didnt have the time, and next thing you know the money i had saved for the project was all out... the only concern i have is when you turn at a sharp turn and the engine is 90 degrees from the bike wouldn't that push you on the side when you hit the throttle ? is it not a problem when you are going uphill? not much weight is pressing the pusher to to road...so im thingking the wheel will slip when high torque is required....put a wheel in front of your pusher then you have a one full functioning scooter :D

Perhaps a starter motor and battery from a mower so you can start it on the fly.

it seems like it's a little over engineered in terms of the materials u used to build the frame with. should be nice and sturdy though. I like.

Nice job if u want more speed remove the 48tooth sprocket and put a 36 tooth more speed but less torque

YOU CAN PUT A SMALLER SPROCKET ON THE RIM TO INCREASE SPEED. THE JACKSHAFT SPOCKETS COULD BE SMALLER ALSO FOR SPEED INCREASE . THIS THING IS MADE LIKE MY WARRIORCYCLES. LAKELAND FL. PUT ME IN JAIL FOR RIDING IT .HERO'S WORKING HARD TO KEEP US SAFE . HERO'S OR SELLOUTS TAKE YOUR PICK.

Lucky Fawker I did build a motorized bike but this one was at the time still legal to ride on the road before they changed the laws here. What was still an advantage was the bicycle still had peddles which made it legalized
