Hey, what is inside that little white tube that you apply on the compression fitting caps before you tighten them?

I use some sewing oil. But any coolant or distilled water maybe soapy water is do just to lubricate it a little bit, 'cause otherwise its almost impossible to tight them. (If you use sewing oil make sure its a synthetic oil or its safe to use with rubber.)

@@L0L0K3 Interesting. What I've done in the past is to dip the tips of these rubber tubes into hot water for 30 seconds. This makes it super easy to tighten the fitting caps, especially when the EKWB Torque fittings are very hard to work with.

im currently building a custom water cooled pc with 5900x and 3080 why did you choose to go with 2 radiators?

To get lower temperatures so I can run my fans slower. Less noise less heat. :)

@@L0L0K3 my temps were pretty high but my gpu block i got from EK is faulty so i had to take the pc apart until they send em a new one. but while the pc was working for a day or two my temps were high and im wondering if i maybe need a 2 rad setup

This a year late reply. If you ever did purchase a 2 radiator for example 2x 360mm 30mm rads then it's not enough. But if it's 60mm in a push pull config then it's good. Linus did a 360mm 30mm thick I think lol, and fans at 100% w/o OC. And it's fine but not for noise. A 360mm+240mm or dual 360mm are currently recommended for 3080-3090 alone... So if you have your 5900x in a loop you need to add another 360mm rad. But they did not mention the thickness and only call it standard which means 30mm thick.
