The thing at the end is "Seed of Corruption", it's propably related to the Beast from PoE1. You should check Kitten Cat Noodle, she has the best lore videos.

PoE gets alot of inspiration of its lore, locations and monsters from New Zealand. Its world and lore gores quite deep and there is a lot of mysteries an open plots, but it is told in a very obscure way and refereances. Most new leagues also expand on the lore in some way. There is poe lore videos(kittencatnoodles) that go on for hours. Its not presented to in a couple of cgi videos like Diablo does it.

Minions are always kinda easy auto mode, but PoE 2 will make summoning minions not feel terrible for non-minion enthusiasts like me (I hate how Spectre's in PoE 1 don't respawn, so it's a pain to get them back whenever they die) Personally, I will have to give minions/witch a try, but I am more intrigued by the new gunner class (mercenary, actually), or "crossbow", how they want to tell themselves that it's not a gunner ;)

Yea, Witch was my favorite class on PoE 1, so I'm so hyped about what they made for her in 2. Saying that Wich is my favorite is a understatement now that I think about. Its the only class I play on PoE 1

When he explode the minion on low life here 5:32 33% of the bosses HP is gone in 3s from the ignite and the explosion. XD

The Logo might be 'the beast' from PoE, a creation of Sin(Demigod/god) to seal off others being like himself as he thought the gods are stealing the spotlight from humanity. Two reasons It appear grotesque/eldritch as it was meant to seal off divinity or a reflection of humanity wanting to use it's power for their own selfish reason.

I want to use the sniper gas cloud. Then explode it with fire. I can probably use ignite proliferation as support gem to spread the fire like in PoE 1

You can't really tell what's gonna be good or bad based on early campaign performance. The heart of PoE is the endgame, and historically, a lot of things that are really good early game can fall behind a lot in the endgame. It all depends on which gems you pick, talents, etc.

Now you are starting to think like a PoE player :D Some of the most fun stuff in PoE happens because of how everything interacts with everything, like you were theorizing about that lightning stuff. From the latest clips it seems that they've made it much easier to get into the game, but it's still possible to do all that crazy cross class stuff.

I think it will be right up my alley. Most of my channel are weird builds in d2. I came up with the Monk Druid last year. And it sounds like im giving myself too much credit when i say that, but literally no one had ever made one before that i could find and the game has been out for about 25 years. I have lots of other builds that steer far away from the meta and use lots of items that a lot of people find useless. For example, lightning strafezon, toxic multishot zon, rogue meleemancer, pure fire necromancer, lightning mages necromancer, physical dragon claw assassin, blaze archer, buriza barbarian, frozen death knight etc. POE2 looks perfect for how I like to theorycraft builds. Part of what makes d2 fun to do off-meta though is that it isnt so clearcut that you can do a lot of those kinds of builds. You really gotta stretch the itemization quite a bit to get some of them to work. Im very much looking forward to the build possibilities in POE2

Definitely looks OP compared to what we’ve seen before. Minion builds usually start out pretty strong though and taper off in endgame until you find the right gear

In d2 its very much like that as well. A summoner druid or necro need so many auras stacked upon each other and tons of added skills with really nice prebuffing gear that isnt easy to exactly easy to find, but it makes to build all the more satisfying if you can make it work really well.

Minion builds in PoE are indeed kind of an easy mode at least compared to most non-minion builds 😂😂 i mean it's the case in most ARPGs including D4, Grim Dawn or Last Epoch. It's just always easier to play when you have meatshields tanking for you and dealing damage while you watch and occasionally buff them/debuff enemies.

Yes, it is related to the lore of path of exile. Poe's story begins with the fall of the gods in a world where anyone can become a god. Men use gems because they wanted to be gods, and they fused with gems and fell apart. The god who encounters gem is also corrupted. Fundamentally, gem is the seed of all wars and corruption and has that much power. And gem is what player use for the battle. It is called skill gem. If you are curious if our Exile is corrupted, search for poe lore. The story of the Diablo series is about the war between angel, devil, human and Nepalem, poe is about god, human and Gem. And the creature of the logo symbolizes corruption. And poe2 is one of the multidimensional parallel worlds of poe1. In poe2, we can meet Alva as a guide, the npc that was in charge of the time temple in poe1.

I think about starting as a witch, but instead of minions i would use claws and attack. Im sure there is a chaos damage ascendency that i can utilize this way. I also really like the voice of the witch. I hate it when chcaracters like these have young, happy voices. They seem to do it right. Just like always. So far i didnt see a choice from them i didnt like.

the thing whit minions is that most ppl don't like the playstyle that's why they are some how OP, at least in POE1. the same goes for totems. GGG have enough experience to know how to balance it for POE2 for sure

i do not like the art style it looks likeit made in a Cad and not in maya then zbrush ( put a creative on that, not a thecnical cad designer)(, i dont lue the ui it looks like its made in 1996, it looks like poe. . Monsters was ool, uper good animations, sick boss mechancs, but their UI team is CRAP
