Joseph Wambua,37, is a man who has literally been to hell and back. His 21 years of deadly addictions have seen him go through a lot than he had ever imagined. It has seen him discontinued from his engineering course at Jomo Kenyatta university, his first marriage broke, his relatives and friend's dessert him as well as his dad going to his grave without having made peace with him. He recalls how one time he saw his dad shedding tears after concerted efforts to have him quit his alcohol and bhang addictions.
