The problem of some ignorant pinoy parents who is forcing their children to be americanized or be infused with other culture totally even when they don't look like them....so hats off to some friends who had stayed in the US for so long but cant forget their own dialects and teach them their children with it. That thought na para bang angat mga anak mo kung englisira, the funny thing is, how many people really appreciates it..if you are living in any western english speaking nations, that is good bec you really have to speak it, pero dito ka sa pinas tapos neighborhood kids mo mga tagalog, lalaking tanga anak mo dahil magkakaroon ng communication barrier with the people around them.

Awh I was also a first generation born in the states from pure Filipino family, and I didn’t know any tagalog words other than Nanay and Tatay until I was 9 when I moved to the PH!! I’d say Tagalog is really easy to learn if you know how to structure sentences, and if you’d like it’s worth a shot at getting more fluent at! I’m one to talk, I’m not the most fluent filipina out there but hey, makausap naman ako sa pamilya ko na nagtatagalog lang at hindi magaling sa ingles!

Omg this father and daughter team is sooo endearing. "Papa" is so full of knowledge and wisdom about the Phils. and about life itself. Funny that the daughter called him corny 😀 but his words are really full of first-hand wisdom. He just didn't learn the language but he went deep into the soul of every Filipino. His features might be different but he is a Filipino by heart. And your daughter is sooo beautiful. Good combination from you and your Filipina wife. Nice video!!! Will look for more from you guys!
