The Epilogue flashback with the stones serves 2 uses: 1st: Explaining why Bruno was an undead zombie. He was destined to die, he should have died to Diavolo in the cathedral. But his own resilience and his team's dedication changed destiny, at the expense of the lifes of Abbachio and Narancia. Secondly it had a thematic connection. It's about the future as an unchangeable, unmovable river, against which you can't swim. It's literally set in stone, and the best you can do is follow it without knowing it. To be a sleeping slave that don't realize their servitude to the grander line of fate. Or realize it, embrace the rock and jump to the emptiness brave and secure. At least that's what Scollipi thinks. And that's also what Diavolo lives his life by. He constantly talks about his grander fate, the security of his victory being written in the stars. Epitaph shows him his victory, King Crimson jumps the flow of time to skip to the inevitable conclusion that has been prophesied. Giorno defies that. He seeks not an a destiny, but a dream, that he has to work for, against the flow of the world. That's why across intros and art chains into vines, slavery to Destiny, imprisonment to the freedom of life is a recurrent visual. And Gold Experience Requiem's ability is the culmination of that: If the flow of time has fated you to lose, then deny time itself it's flow, never reach that truth, be forever fighting and exist outside it. Not to mention, Fate, Destiny, Being oblivious to what Destiny holds for you and fighting to forge your own future are HUGE points to Stone Ocean's whole deal.

Golden Wind's ending is messy as hell but it ain't the Sleeping Slaves Epilogue's fault It got messy, needlessly complicated and padded since the Freeky Friday body swap in the last 3 episodes of the show (which btw, seriously hindered the weight of Narancia's death, it could have been A LOT heavier). But if you can pull thru that, but not a bookending that gives the story context, furthers the themes of the part and also sets up the ideas of the next part, then I don't know what to tell you To each their own I guess

Also apparently there is a King Crimson song titled Reqiuem, Its possible that some people were aware of this and believed it was a clue towards the ending having Diavolo obtain Reqiuem, only for the surprise twist (at least to them) of Giorno gaining it instead. I like the subversion of the Music Reference on display here, where normally real life references can spoil Jojo, yet this one instance actually throws you off. Kinda like a red herring. Don't know if that was intentional or not, but I find the idea amusing.

Gold Experience Requiem's ability is basically to rewrite fate by reversing time, this ability can be referred to as "Back To Zero" like, lets say Jotaro stopped time, and was about to kill Giorno, Gold Experience Requiem would appear in timestop, say "no" and reverse time back to before Jotaro stopped time. Or if somebody tried to throw a rock at Giorno's face for some reason, Gold Experience Requiem would appear and say "no" and reverse time to before the rock was thrown, ect ect.

That's not exactly. Diavolo sees the future and skipp (negate) time, then act to get the end that ge saw. Gold Experience Requiems power is to say:"NO". In simplest terms: Imagine a stone on a hill, (1) you push the stone. (2) it starts to roll. (3) when it hits the bottom it stops rolling and sits at the bottom of the hill. With King Crimson you (1) push the stone, and (3) it sits at the bottom of the hill. With GER however, you (1) push the stone, and (2) it starts rolling. And that's it, it never stops rolling because it never gets to the bottom of the hill. But because it never reaches the end, it rolls forever, and it cannot be stopped, as a rolling stone gathers no moss. Rolling Stones the stand is important because its essentially a twist, much like the 6th Sense, where it recontextualizes scenes that previously seemed to imply one thing but now clearly shows the reality of what happened. This is why Mista is seemingly invincible throughout the part, yet the others die anyways. However Bruno is unique because he has resolve, which made fate favor him enough to continue beyond his due date. But to explain "quickly", Rolling stones sees the fate of people who are about to encounter a horrible death, and desires to release them from the future pain by ending them peacefully. Though those who fight against it may only make their fate even worse. Its a bit tricky to explain, so I'll just show you how it effects the story instead. If the stone touched Bruno, he would die painlessly and the rest of the group would simply have to move on. IF they never encountered Rolling Stones however, they would go about their day, get the assignment to deliver Trish, and Bruno would die painfully at the hands of Diavolo, while the rest of the team would never know what happened and would have to move on. BUT because Mista stopped Rolling Stones, he made that fate worse and spread that painful fate to the rest of the gang. Yet He was spared do to his resolve and selfless sacrifice for Bruno. This meant that the Stone spared him and Fate favored him. He therefore was granted the same luck that he encountered when he was shot at by 4 criminals when he was younger. However, though they were sleeping slaves (aka: blind to their fate, yet forcefully lead to it unknowingly), the introduction of Giorno gave them both the resolve, and the goal to make something more important out of their fates. And its likely that fate guided Giorno to them due to both Giorno's resolve as well as Mista's selfless sacrifice to the stone. In this case, even though most of the group was destined to die horribly, their deaths were not in vain and served a greater goal. And Giorno was the guide that lead them to that goal. Its something like that, its a bizarre philosophy to explain or understand. Hopefully that helps?

King Crimson is able to enter a state where he can move freely despite what fate requires of him. Anything he would have done remains and everyone else is completely unaware of those 10 seconds. He uses this combine with Epitaph to put himself in an optimal situation to win any given fight. Gold Experience Requiem has the ability to reset any direct attack against Giorno back to before the action was even conceived of which allows Giorno to immediately counter attack. This is on top of a bunch of upgrades like being able to give life to inanimate objects through a beam rather than needing to touch the object. Diavolo’s infinite death is essentially an even worse version of Giorno’s ability to make his opponent outpace their mind.

Just a small explanation about King Crimson and Gold Experience Requiem, King Crimson's (or Crimson Emperor's) power is to skip over time within ten seconds, however what happens within those ten seconds will always happen, even if Diavolo cannot interact with anything during the moment of skipped time. Anything he sees with Epitaph/Eulogy will always happen no matter what. Gold Experience Requiem's power is to revert attacks against itself and it's user to zero, essentially making it so that the attack never happened. It can be called a form of time manipulation, but it is better to call it causality manipulation, as in it removes the cause of the attack, thus the effect never happened. It can also revert someone's death it causes to zero, but it ensures that they will keep on dying regardless because their death returned to zero. I hope this was a good enough explanation. If not, might I recommend Hamon Beat, a KZbinr who makes video about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure explaining certain aspects of the series.

So there's a couple of ways I took the ending. One of them is that due to trying to change fate. It ended up bringing down more of their friends instead of just Bruno For example, the girl embraced her fate. She died to save her father instead trying to go against it and having them both die. Another interpretation of mine is that Bruno was originally suppose to be the only one to die. But due to the gang having trust in Bruno's vision. They knew the consequences of taking on the boss but still willingly tagged along knowing that Bruno's plan will bring a better future. Kinda like what Rolling stones stand user said. Thank you for giving us all something enjoyable to experience with you. Reactions help us vicariously watch it again almost like the first time, and Jojo is wonderful so this has been great. Please don't close down your channel, lets see your dad enjoy other great shows that he might like, like Hunter x Hunter, Gurren Lagann, or FMA:B.

There is supposed to be a JoJo announcement one week from now on April 4th (Jonathan's birthday + Blinky's dad's birthday). There is some assumption that they'll be announcing the Part 6 anime adaption but guess we won't actually know for another week.

The Rolling Stones story has a lot of meaning! There were three possible paths that could have been taken and each would have had different events take place: 1. Bruno doesn’t touch the stone and Mista doesn’t break it. This would mean Fugo goes to meet Giorno since the car wasn’t destroyed by Mista falling on it. As a result, Giorno wouldn’t have been recruited into Passione. This would mean that when Bruno goes to deliver Trish to the boss, he would have tried to save Trish and died with no one to bring him back to life, dying in the way the rock showed. 2. Bruno doesn’t touch the stone and Mista breaks it (the thing that happened). Mista destroys the car that Fugo was driving, causing Bruno to go meet Giorno. This leads to all the events in the show - importantly his ability to save Bruno from death the first time (Represented by Mista breaking the rock). Since Bruno was saved, the rest of the crew can continue the mission which leads to Narancia and Abbachio’s deaths and Bruno’s second death. 3. Bruno touches the rock. Bruno dies right there. The boss doesn’t recruit Bruno’s team to do the mission and no one else dies.

He is right the last arc does set up the sixth part. Especially with all the gravity involved.

Best way of explaining GER is he's essentially the opposite of Johnny's Tusk. Where Tusk Act IV holds the power of infinity, GER has the power of zero. He nullifies people's intentions, and separates causes from effects, so the causes can still occur but no consequences can come of it. Diavolo's infinite deaths come from dividing by zero, the cause of being killed occurs over and over, with him getting asymptoticly closer to death without ever reaching the truth of the consequence of being killed - being able to die. This works really well because Diavolo spends the entire series trying to circumvent fate (a physical force in JJBA that is essentially gravity) with his stand that allows him to take shortcuts past other people's determination and will. He builds up a bunch of fate karma points until Giorno's resolve to obtain the arrow is so great he develops an ability that is designed to take control of fate out of the hands of those who abuse that control.

Best explanation of part 5 ending ever 🤣! Love your reviews

The simple way of explaining it is GER stops fate from happining and KC just skips through time but can also sees into the future...

The final episodes with the rolling stone arc are meant to resignify the story from the perspective of fate, not advance the plot in any way. The first time you go through the arc you hope and despair as you watch the gang struggle, wishing they don't die and such. Then you see the ending and when you go through the story again the struggles mean a different thin. The guys in the gang destined to die had a fate even before they met Giorno, but through knowing him (several times they comment on how he inspires determination, etc) their "futile" struggles give way into the new hopes of the city of Napoles, that in the end can see a better future in the hands of the new good capo. A capo that won't sell drugs to kids and ruin the people's lives, which was Giorno's dream: to become a "Gang-star" and seize the de facto power of the city to do good.

As for why Diavolo wanted to ensure Trish died by his hand - on top of not knowing if she knew who he is, they have a connection that would alert each other of another one's presence. Plus it's jojo's universe, there are stands, so technically there could be a stand that could (based on the blood or even the stand) track the boss if they had Trish.
@Raddkann3 жыл бұрын
to put it plainly, GER’s ability is to revert the value of anything to 0. so if the action of King Crimson using its ability to skip time has a value of 1, GER makes that value 0. it’s one of the most confusing stands ever, but if you think of it like that, it makes a little more sense.
@DrRubix17123 жыл бұрын
My understanding of GER is that it sets anything to zero, based on how he talks about it in Eyes of Heaven and this finale. So in this case he set the ability for Diavolo to reach the truth (his end) to zero, trapping him in an infinite deathloop. I may be wrong, but that was my understanding

Along with the part 4 movie there’s a live action Rohan show
@DarkNoiseBW3 жыл бұрын
Your explanation was in the right direction. King Crimson can Erase the Cause and avoids the Effect. Golden Experience Requiem Erases the Effect and Restores the Cause back at it's starting point. This is why Diavolo is stuck in a death loop. The Cause of his death will always be restored, but the Effect (his ultimate and final death) no longer exists.
@cryptocarlton96183 жыл бұрын
Diavolo is the fated effect erasing the fated cause, Golden Experience Requiem is the fated caused but never getting the fated effect
