I did a four month run taking care of my mom's sister 24hrs 7days a week because her three children wouldn't! It was an honor taking care of her. I watched her taking her a last breath on 1-21-24 at 84yrs old❤❤❤ God bless you and your family for taking care of your Daddy❤️❤️❤️ in the name of Jesus!

Wow that’s amazing and so much love you have for your aunt I know she felt the lace and it’s something that words could ever describe. Being there for her last moments is something so special and I have so much love and respect and admiration for you! God bless you for being there for your father I was my boyfriend care giver before he died we were together for 15 years my boyfriend was on dialysis, total blindness and both legs were amputated but he died from infection last year 2023 caregiving is not easy but it is rewarding

God bless you all we lost both Mom and then Dad it was very difficult when Moms^ mind went and she was in a total loss for normal talk and walk it broke my heart she was so docile I just wanted to pick her up and hold her she just looked like a china doll Dad was so compassioned and love at the end he took it extremely hard when Mom died they were married over 60 years❤❤❤ you will never regret this for caring for your Dad is is difficult but how beautiful when everyone works together ❤❤❤❤

Matty, my friend, this video had me an emotional mess. My dad is sadly estranged, but my mom is my world. I cant even imagine what you and your family are going through. Dementia is wicked, as any illness really, but it in particular strips away everything a person is- memory, experience, independence, the whole bit. It’s a scary thing to think about. And my heart goes out to y’all in that regard. To hear your dad’s speaking and experiences he went through- I admire his change, nobility, his strong spirituality and faith in God. This vlog was very different and heartwarming thing to watch. You really capture the perfect atmosphere, a high quality documentary. You’re doing incredible cinematographic work and I’ve enjoyed how much you’ve grown in this and just as a human being in general through the few years I’ve known you. Keep at it ❤️ I don’t really know how to end this since i’m kind of on a ramble, but just know I love you dude, you’re loved by many and you and your family are in our prayers ❤️🙏🏼

What a struggle. You and your family are so brave. The strength of your spirit is what has kept your Dad continue to live. My mother in law has dementia but a milder form of it. She has had dementia for at least 10 years and just celebrated her 93rd birthday. God bless you and your family.

I want to thank you for sharing this very valuable information with the public. My mother had dementia and had gotten to the point where she would not eat because she had forgotten how to chew. Some dementia sufferers forget how to eat and chew. Thanks to God and the hospital staff, I learned to use a large irrigation syringe from the hospital to feed her puree foods and stimulate her appetite with something sweet. This method was also more than helpful when it came to administering medications to her as well. Mom lived for almost another year after the discovery of large irrigation syringes. It's important to know that babies instinctively know to suck on a food supply unit. With adults with dementia, the last thing they will forget to do is suck on a food supply. I only wish you and I could connect so that I could share more information that will help you...

You sound like a very great son to do what your doing for your dad, i know what is like i helped out my mother years back when my dad had Alzheimer's they lived on my property in a trailer we walked my dad back n forth on the property that helped him out much it eventually progressed thru time to where he didnt know how to eat or drink anymore it was very painful to see him in that state of unable to help him anymore other then wetting a sponge to keep his mouth from drying out & getting some moisture in his mouth without chocking, after he passed in sept2008 my mother came down with stage4 chest cancer that passed exactly 2 years later in sept2010, it wasnt east, then last year had 2 brothers pass 3 months apart youngest at 61 from cancer & oldest at 66 found deceased in bushes in southern cal, life is short my mother use to say & we just nwver know what today will bring, as the bible says no one knoweth their time nor is promised tomorrow, i pray that for anyone who doesnt knkw the Lord accept him now while they have breath tomorrow maybe too late let alone rest of today life is very short✝️🙏
