Tom the pressure problem can come from the valve. It has a small battery in it and usually, it takes 3-6 years to die. You might need new valves.

I was looking for one a plate few months ago and they told me it's on a car that was written off and sold at auction by the insurance company sadly still haven't found who owns it. You can, however by doing so you are putting yourself and the product in a potentially dangerous situation. If the product doesn’t have a proper ground and shorts out it can fry the electronics of the product. In the event of a short you could get electrocuted if the plug is near or in a puddle or other conductor you are in contact with.

Tyre pressure warning most probably an impact (pothole) sending the tyre pressure high enough to cause a warning. Especially due to low profiles. Explains why it looks fine when you get out. Best to check for a flat though 👍
