I love your snail shadow on the wall, Edmund. Thank you for a lovely tour of Hampstead. I just moved to London, and your video gave me good ideas of new places to visit. Also, it's so lonely living here on my own. It's nice to have someone to explore virtually with.

About career choices - the older you get the more you realize that at the end of the day that stuff doesn't really matter all that much in the grand scheme of things, especially in terms of overall happiness. Whether its position 'a' in company 'b' in country 'c' or the same for 'x, y, z' its rather a means to end rather than an end in itself. Ultimately its just a way to obtain money, nothing more, nothing less. The other part is planning - some planning is important but no point over planning things - there are just so many variables / moving pieces to the puzzle that is life and being too focused on a plan can leave you ignorant of ad hoc opportunities / possibilities that sometimes arise. BTW nice shots of Hampstead, enjoyed walking those streets (less so the climb up the hill from Belsize Park ;) ) - very leafy, quiet and tranquil area, perfect for a Sunday afternoon walk.

Hello, Mr. Encyclopaedia! I was waiting for your comment. I read your career choice advice very very carefully🥹🤗 I am still thinking about which career to choose - if you were me, where would you go, London vs Africa (2 years)? My life was full of ad-hoc opportunities here and there which led me to London for years❤️ Keep posting your comments!!!

@Edmund30s It would be unwise to give any advice not knowing one's full set of circumstances and motivations. I would however probably consider staying in London for the time being and seriously look into the hidden but somewhat obvious option no. 3 - evaluate possibilities in South Korea. For most people there is only so long one wants to be an expat on the move and within the next couple of years you will want to settle down - if that time has not already come. I have been to South Korea a few times and regard it as a big step up from the UK - the culture, society, traditional values and beautiful women there would appeal to me much more than the current mess that the UK has become (also bear in mind the outlook - it does not look like things will be improving any time soon). Keep your chin up and have a good week!

Hi Edmund! It was lovely to see your life in London. From the videos I have seen, I have always loved the Hampstead area. I hope to live in London one day. About career choices - it is always hard to make decisions. Are you looking forward to staying in London? I love the coffee shops you went to. To answer your question, yes, decaf coffee is coffee; it is just made without caffeine. I am sorry the woman in the coffee shop made you uncomfortable by assuming you based on your looks. However; it is considered offensive to call the older woman an "English granny" It would have been better to call her "a woman in the coffee shop"

Thanks for your comment! I want to correct my expression anytime because I can be prone to misuse of English:) I will bear your advice in my mind next time. Please visit my channel more onwards and provide advice on my English🤗🤓 and yes career choice is always happy (but difficult). I am not for sure yet, but I definitely adore London and people around me here❤️

Hi, new subscriber here. I really enjoy your peaceful videos, thank you. Also, we have some of the same books :). I think James Clear is wonderful. Well, I just wanted to say, I know the English grannies seem rude but probably they don't realise they are (I hope). You are widening their horizons by saying where you're from! When I travelled my nationality was often wrongly assumed, it's a strange feeling to have your country disappeared in this way for an instant. I'm sure you were very polite to them and if they were a bit lonely or sad having a few words exchanged with them may have brightened their day. Have a happy new year, and stay safe in the cold there, from the southern hemisphere where it is very hot at the moment!

@ Yes u got it absolutely correct 👍🏼 (name ) Thank you 😇 Baby is doing just fine . He is no longer baby any more 😄😄. Sorry about that pic, it’s a very old picture probably when I made my KZbin account . Baby has grown into a 14 year old big boy now ☺️☺️😇, and we also try to inculcate some good energy and saving habits in him just like you do 👌🏼, so that he doesn’t struggle as much as we did in our 20’s or 30’s . We spent our 30’s life in Hong Kong and it was the most wonderful time for us I would say spent there 👍🏼👍🏼 It has been a great learning experience for us too here in London, being miles away from home , but with dreams and aspirations in our eyes we have set foot & trying to pick up the pace here as well 😊✌🏻

London is a great city, but its very, very expensive to live in Hampstead. Precisely because its such a safe looking, pretty, chocolate box village. To buy a house or flat your talking millions. This also doesnt show the homeless, the street crime, the prostitution & the crack dealers etc. If your thinking of moving to London, dont be too shocked its not going to be like this. !
@Edmund30sКүн бұрын
Hello:) thanks for sharing your view and experience very frankly - I broadly agree with you. Hampstead and is surrounding neighbourhoods are safe and yes, just like a tiny adorable bubbly chocolate box village😉❣️ However, London is yet a diverse city not just limited to postcard-like North West London🥹 It is really beautiful place and for me a very special place…🙈

Nice video. If you are looking for a charming city with excellent cuisine (and no Paris does not meet the culinary standards) than I'd highly recommend Thessaloniki (2nd city of Greece and formerly the co-capital), and in the region of Macedonia where Alexander the Great hails from. It covered the Ottoman, Roman and Byzantine Empires, which contributed to its exceptional and UNESCO recognised gastronomy capital of Greece. I can confirm that the food is exceptionally excellent there as I travel to work remotely from Saloniki every couple of weeks. Where else can you have a Byzantine church right next door to an Ottoman bath? Forget about Paris! Go to Saloniki (also you see the highest peak of Mount Olympus where God Zeus hails from).
