You don't know how helpful it is to have you use optical anatomy to help explain as opposed to just saying "about here, the outer part of your eye"

The monolid-two lids thing in your eyes amazed me. Genetics is so interesting. Please, PLEASE don't get insecure about them -or anything, really- because I personally find it awesome, seriously. I love it and I think you're beautiful and always cute, with or without makeup 💕 thanks for the video!!

Eyelid surgery was/is big in Asian countries. It's sad really to be ashamed of your looks and want to look more "white" or Western.
@raccoonbunny66693 жыл бұрын
@@thechairman74 while its true that double eyelid surgery is popular in Asia, their beauty standards are independent of western or "white". Theres Interesting history behind the beauty standard of double eyelids. The beginning of east asian immigrants arriving, monolids where seen as "very Asian", and it was difficult for people to obtain jobs because of discrimination. Surgery was available to Asians to appear less "stereotypically Asian". Soon the trend moved eastwards and became popular for people in Asia to have double eyelid surgery to obtain jobs. Historically it was to look less Asian. But now, the beauty standard is because it makes the eyes look more lively and appear younger. Asian beauty standards actually revolve around looking youthful and innocent, not to look white. Ask anyone from east asia if they want to look white, and they would get very offended. Please don't assume that Asian people want to look more "white", its quite a common misconception.

they are called demi lids (idk if that's the real name but that is what i heard) when i see it, i see it as a monolid with a double eyelid. it's so pretty :)

thank you for the vocabulary you jsed! a lot of people would have said "and then i'm going to fill that huge gap in my brow" and you said "... fill that microscopically visible gap" and in the thumbnail u said "cute to also cute"! i love that! language often affects the images in our minds when we don't even know. I also have a monolid for one eye and double eyelid on the other. Sometimes I wake up both monolid, sometimes I wake up both double eyelid (wish this were the case for me every day). I prefer my eyes looking symmetrical and perhaps this may be something you want to look into bc its easier to apply makeup when ur eyes are proportional, but I use eyelid glue to make the monolid a double eyelid, so when I apply eyeshadow I know to put it under the double eyelid space.

This is a question to anyone: is it normal for mascara to burn my eyes/make my eyes leak? I don’t really put any at the base of my lashes mainly just the ends.
@effpng3 жыл бұрын
i’m not 100% sure but i think it depends on how you apply it
