Absolutely Ms Vaughn! You and your village are doing a great job!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I shared with you before that my son started reading at 2 years old but from my research and observations of him, I think he is not necessarily neurotypical either. I think he has what is called hyperlexia 3, which means he is an early reader with some traits of autism and maybe even some sensory processing issues, as well as language processing issues. It is extremely difficult to get him to try new foods. He was afraid of automatic toilets and hand dryers in public restrooms until 4 almost 5 years old (this past January) and other quirks. I started giving him melatonin this past summer to help him regulate sleeping at night and waking in the morning. He has energy for days (and seldom takes naps). My son doesn't really like tv either, he watches KZbin a lot, mostly educational content and Ryan's World. And to get him calmed down for bed and resting, I would have him read to me or we would discuss a book. He's now in virtual Kindergarten and many of the videos his teacher uses he has watched on KZbin. Although he is advanced in reading, he struggles a little bit with language. I learned from my research that I have to have a visual and script (Google slides, images, pictures, text) for everything because the oral language comprehension is weak and I have to teach him like an English learner. I am basically his teacher, teacher’s aide, and speech therapist. I am right by his side to make sure he is focused, following directions, listening, and processing oral language. He is coming along! I have to provide supplemental learning for him like task cards to help him understand who questions so he can tell me who is (and eventually who are the characters) in the story Goldilocks and the 3 bears. Talk about having patience!!!! I think I am quite patient but I have to adjust and be even more patient. So Kudos again! Learning and growing with Anne to give her Her Best Life! ❤️

God knows who to give special children to. You have a gift when it comes not only your daughter, but everything you do. It’s no wonder Anne has met so many milestones, she understands that she has a mother who cares about her total well-being. Not that every mother doesn’t care about their children, but the connection you have with her is amazing, the patience. You are her shero for sure. You make it easy for Anthony to go to work without concern, so he can focus and be safe out in those streets, he knows you are holding it down. Blessing to you!

Yay Anne. I just love these updates on how Anne is doing. I also love that you mentioned that your flexible with your child screen time. I battle with that myself with my son. Being a first time mom I always battle with home to limit screen time. I’ve learned to be flexible and to incorporate small burst of time throughout the day dedicated to other activities that fosters the skills he learns through the iPad.

It was always exciting to watch him finally make the connection to what we were trying to teach him. Exciting to see the LIGHT come on in his head 🤸Great , Fantabulous , Awesome job Mommy. I understand what it takes to reach even a minute milestone. Every milestone is a TREMENDOUS VICTORY 🙏🤩 Great Job Mommy 💙💛🤸🤓😍💋🧡💜💙🙏💝

I'm definitely an advocate for Child Find events. My husband and I had our oldest daughter assessed when she was 2. Now at three going on four, she amazes us every day with something new. Many blessings to you and yours!
