We have a 2 year old grandson who was born preemie but whose determined to not let his condition define him. The human will should not be underestimated in achievement, nor the motivation the heart of a loving parent can give a child. Our 2 year old grandson is at the verge of walking. He’s been diagnosed with CP also though some tests have not been done like MRI and CT scans. He has a twin-brother, a fraternal twin, who was bigger at birth and still is, who is unaffected by CP. The impact on our grandson with CP is not as severe as in some children, he has full use of his hands, he sits well and crawls but crawled late. His eyes are a bit weakened but he can see and also hear. He definitely enjoys life, is always laughing and smiling. He’s got low tone but physical therapy has been helping him. He is able to climb up stairs and when he is determined he wants to do something, he will. He has a great ability to concentrate for long periods of time. Very good at puzzles. Thank you for your heart-warming video. Made my day.

Cute little girl! I myself have mild C.P. (Cerebral Palsy) in both legs and I also am profound deaf in both ears since birth. I am 52 yrs old, single and I live alone. I can walk but now with my lower back, hips and pelvis area having painful issues...I am not be able to standing in long period of time cuz it makes my lower back so much painful and cramping. It wanting to collapse on me and it even hurts when I bend my back. If I stand for few mins then it starts having pain and cramping that made my lower back feel heavy that makes my legs wanting to collapse so I use my walker w/seat and wheels (4) to help support me to walk. Without using walker is pretty hard on me cuz of feeling pain, cramps and feel heavy weigh on me to walk. Cuz I have lower back issues that I had 2 bulging discs that I had surgery to removed bulging discs (2) and have 2 metal plates and 8 screws couple years ago. It's not very comfortable and now I have Herniated disc between L3-L4. The bulging discs I had before it was in L4-L5. I also use power chair to go my Dr appts. I use my walker at home and also to go store in Walmart or any places. For my dr appts, I ride on OATS TRANSIT that has wheelchair lift for my power chair. How old is your daughter and what's her name? Did she diagnosis of cerebral palsy since birth. Wow she is so brave and trying to learn how to walk! So proud of her! 🙂👍🏼

Hi! I have a very mild case of cp! I’m very sorry about your nephew, and there are no cures. But, there is physical therapy which helps so much. I was diagnosed when i was 2 and i started physical therapy. now i am 13 and i have done physical therapy all my life and it truly does help. i walked weird at first but after all these years or stretching and excercize, it’s hard to even tell. anyways, i hope this helps!
