Im a competitive xcel gymnast as well and I have competed xcel gold (i am now going xcel diamond) I think that in gold your split jump and handstand have to hit a certain degree or your start value goes down so that is a possibility as well as they may not have counted her full turn which decreases her start value as well. I hope this helps!

On beam they started her on 9 because they deduct the start value if there jumps aren’t big enough or maybe there handstand didn’t hit vertical and so on. I am in gymnastics and this happened to my friend twice.
