Don't worry about the ants on your peonies... It's a perfectly natural thing! Apparently the ants and peonies have a symbiotic relationship, so the peonies feed the ants, and the ants protect the peonies from other bugs that want to eat them!

Thanks, I wasn’t too worried because these peony roots was first year roots. I wasn’t expecting any blooms.
