@@TheJohnWeberTeam It is a place I have eaten lunch, as well as ice cream and coffee at a few times, and the view looked very similar. Nice breeze that day you filmed, so was probably welcome if it was a hot summer day. I love Waterfront Park, and so nice several restaurants on Bay have that "backyard" porch/patio.

Also, I'm a Sams. You should have talked about the history of Dataw. One of my family's graveyards is on Dataw and the Sams Family Museum. My grandfather was Talbird Reeve Sams.

There is a lot that influenced the decline in the charm of Beaufort. It truly is a shame that so many people keep moving to my hometown and destroying the very reason they moved there for. I'm from the Talbird/Sams family. My mother is Jane Elizabeth Sams (Fisher is her married name) who is the daughter of Talbird Reeve Sams and Betty Jane Johnson Sams. People are moving here, driving up the cost of living, and actually driving out locals. A HUGE part of the population they are driving out are slave descendents that live out on St. Helena still. The transplants are making it hard for everyone who has roots in this town. I'm not even going to begin on the traffic problem. There is no more room! Stop moving to Beaufort! You're destroying a part of American history! Yes, come visit, but please go back home!
