Best idea I can give you is to just use your planner. Once you start using it, you will find better ways in which it will work better for you. I have changed how I use mine little by little. I use mine more of a daily journal. I do put in my todo's and appointments as well.

I'm using the same Day-Timer binder! And the same iPhone case. Still trying to use the organizer more. Glad I'm not the only one not using a Filofax. I can't bring myself to spend soooo much on a planner. I just wish the binder had bigger rings! I've made my own stickers to make it pretty to draw me in to use it.

Wow! looks like you've really tricked out that planner. it looks great and you have some great ideas. I used to use a planner for years and I promise you mine never looked like that lol. mine was mostly for drs appts and keeping up w their paper work. now that I have my tablet and it fits into my purse I don't carry the planner but you've got me thinking I need one now. lol. maybe i would get more cleaning done if I planned it out. lol tfs, hugs, amyk

I love your planner, I have been trying to find one that I could afford over here in the UK, I spent so much time looking I got tired so I have ordered a binder and inserts, hopefully it will suffice.I am an Avon Rep so I need a planner for that and for my home too, I want to combine hopefully it wont be too heavy lol. You have so many stickers too. I have just ordered loads of stickers too. Thankyou for sharing xx

Love your planner! I dug out my old Filofax and was going to use that, but then my friend sent me a pick of a purple planner she saw at Walmart and I fell in love so as soon as it arrives I will be switching out from my Filofax! Hahaha....thanks for the tips! ~Kay

Just found your video. The thick black plastic page thing is a page lifter. The purpose is to lift your page off the rings. It drives me absolutely nuts when my pages curl around the rings (not an over-stuffer). Love how you extended it so as not to tuck into the flap. My favorite hack for these, an emergency hole punch template. Line up paper and page lifter, with a single hole punch, depress until you feel a slight resistance. Slide the punch down til you feel a more firm blockage. Punch. Wish I could say this was my idea, but not. Can't remember who it came from, but they get a million and one kudos. Great for those important, loose papers. Hope you can add this to your planner bag of tricks/hacks. Of course, a dashboard also is useful. Enjoy.

HI! That black short hard plastic piece is your page lifter. It should go in the front and and another one in the back to raise your pages and keep them tidy.

I am getting back into my scrapbooking. I have always been creative, but kind of took a break from scrapbooking. I have always timed myself to clean each room, even before learning about flylady :) I find her website to be a bit confusing now compared to when I used to do it though.

misskoalaprincess A crop is when a bunch of scrapbookers, or other crafters get together and create.I host a few in my house with my friends. But organizations also put them on where a fee is charged. Hope that I have explained it well.

Thank you. I want to address Marylou Gomez below. I was on budget too years ago. I just created my own planner with a regular binder, printed a calendar from internet, and then created my own pages like emergency info, bill organizer, birthday and holiday pages, etc. You really don't need to spend $$ to make a planner you love.

You are 100% right Jenee. I love my planner and for me it wasn't an issue. But one thing I encourage is you don't need a lot of money to create. I get many emails from other telling me that they don't have all the new and fancy supplies. I used to use school glue and paper bags….creating isn't about how much money you have, its about thinking outside of the box and creating for the love of creating. :) Thank you for your comment Jenee :)
