I was getting upset about my mod, I'm currently making, not gonna have CGs because I don't have the skill nor money for them. But I got a really good alternative for it and it's just as effective as a CG. And it's all done with messing with sprite locations and the camera zoom

I'd argue deducting points for a mod being the same as another mod is valid if it's not better than the previous iterations. the same mistakes get increasingly dumber as you have more examples of how to avoid them. edit: wait, the exit music devs weren't pleased with EM: Bloom? man, imagine how bad that one was.

I have a question for you Have you ever tried mods in another language? How do you think they would look in your list?

Sadly I have not due to not knowing how to fully speak another language besides English (only know a bit of Spanish) I'd love to play some that have been translated though!
