Considering the sh*t he went through... I''m almost glad he passed. Arthur had a tremendous amount of pain bellowing inside of him. Seeing him pass on that rocky mountain was devastating yet a relief. To finally have him rest permanently and be done will it all is was probably the best option he could have taken.

Mary was right. She said “use this for people who are in love” and that ring was given to John Marston. And then John married Abigail with that ring. This game really is the best game ever.

Arthur has become so much more likable to me than he already was. I was diagnosed with MS back in August, and much like TB during the time this game takes place, MS has no cure. Getting hit with a disease that is progressive without a way of truly fixing it gives you such crazy perspective and reflection. The things I wish I had done differently, along with the fears of knowing that my future is basically robbed from me, it's a lot. The whole love aspect too just feels like it would be so hard if not impossible now, cause like I just wouldn't want to burden anyone. MS treatments are better than they used to be from what all the doctors trying to reassure me have shared, but they also told me the damage is permanent and all I could hope for is it going into remission, but it'll never truly be gone and could flare up at any time and take more from me. I guess the point of my comment here is to enjoy every moment you get, and to not squander opportunities cause there really are fates worse than death in life that could take those things away.

This game is my favorite and it’s so good, but kind of depressing and relatable. If you haven’t played this game I highly recommend it. It will change the way u think of video games and the way you think of life.

Met a gal like Mary once sweet, sharp, had a way about her. Chased after her so hard back in school, but I wasn't what she was looking for. Tried to keep in touch, but guess I came on too strong, always sending messages and whatnot. She's got herself a fella now, or so she said i was devastated and i still am. Just hope she's out there doing alright.

I got the low honor ending, it felt as if it were more fitting for him, in the ending he reached for the gun as he crawled and when he saw Dutch he gave up, I think it really showed how much pain Arthur is in, it was much more fitting in my opinion for Arthur to be a man wrestling with his morals and his lawless nature.

@@hamza_clipz_699 Respectfully you're honestly just generic, you prefer the boring bad guy becomes the good guy story. You follow the game cover. Low honor expresses a better sense of reality, showing how Arthur struggles with his pain, showing how human he is and no matter how strong or skilled you are, you can never escape the reality of your actions. It is much more relatable in terms of the real life of an outlaw. Literally if you look it up. Low Honor gameplay gives you more of the outlaw experience. And I believe at heart Arthur Morgan is an outlaw.

Also its not what i like or not, but objectively speaking side quests of high honor are just so fucking beautiful. Plus, the end scene is just absolutely gorgeous. This is my personal opinion, you can have yours. The "I am afraid line" alone is much better than the entire low honor ending ngl. That scene deserved Oscar. Maybe low honor ending is suits Arthur better (I personally don't think so because I see good in him as Mary said in her letter) but high honor ending especially getting it for the first playthrough just causes more emotions in people. I personally cried after getting the ending, but i cant find anyone who did after getting the low honor one. I think redemption and kindness are more beautiful in any situation than vengeance and anger. Maybe second option is more suited but first one is more beautiful and emotional. And that's why we play games / read books / watch movies, right? Anything that causes emotion is well written ( didn't word this well but hopefully you get my point) Therefore getting high honor is just a better option/ending for most people. Maybe not for you and that's okay, because we have different tastes, but generally speaking, getting high honor ending is more touching and meaningful for most people. When Arthur climbs the mountain and takes his last breath, watching the sunset, I don't understand how you choose low honor one over that. It's also said that while making that ending Dutch's voice actor broke down crying so much so to the point were he couldn't continue voice acting hence why Dutch doesn't say anything in the end. Also, I am not generic. in fact, i am not a huge fan of "happy ends" I do in fact find them very boring and generic. So there's that.

First of all you claim ''its not what i like or not'' when the entirety of your argument is based on your opinion about why you like the high honor ending, your just talking about how beautiful the ending is. Instead of acknowledging the real meaning of the character and as to why the low honor ending fit him more. The whole reason Mary's letter existed was because he couldn't change. Her letter is the definition of Actions do not give rewards. I made my argument based upon the realism of the low honor ending, comparing it to real life circumstances of living the life of an outlaw. You're just using words to describe what you like about the High honor ending. I understand the objective beauty of the High Honor ending. But it just doesn't define the character enough. It's almost like, Low Honor is reality, and High Honor is what we would've wanted to happen. I believe Low Honor is better. because it's better to live in the reality of the pain and appreciate it, than live in a dream. Arthur Morgan was a good man but he had flaws. You don't spend most of your life as an outlaw and have a happy ending.

@@mr.batmancalzony7941 I understand what you are saying and I value objective value of the low honor ending. But the whole point of the video game is to get joy out if it. In case of rdr2, most value can be taken if you develop emotional connections with a lot of the characters and that includes Arthur himself. My point is that the game can be enjoyed for most people when they get the high honor ending. It really does not matter objectively what fits the character and what does not. High honor is just superior ending because it truly causes emotion in most of the people therefore getting the most joy out of it. You can physically not argue with this argument. Just google "reacting to arthurs death". Most people who show any sort of emotion are the ones who got the high honor ending. Not to mention the fact it is just the most satisfying ending. You really have no argument in your reply. What you already said i clarified. Even in high honor ending, Arthur is still not a good man. He really isn't. Satisfying part about high honor is how he is trying to do everything that he can so his sins are not as big of a burden anymore. High honor ending is not a dream lmao. You can clearly choose it and live with it and it is just as realistic as high honor one since it is mentioned that game does not have a cannon ending. You say Arthur was a good man but he had flaws. (This actually just makes what I said true but I do not think this is true) I say Arthur was a BAD MAN who had good within him. That is what makes high honor ending so good. If you understand objective beauty of high honor, really you have no reason to argue that low honor one is better since game has no cannon ending hence you argument that it is just a dream is not true. Low honor ending is just as real as the high one, high one is just more beautiful therefore better. What you said in the last sentence just shows that your mindset of life is quite pessimistic and sad. It is better to have beliefs that make you feel better than beliefs that make you more depressed. The fact that high honor ending even exists (and is realistic as I said) shows you can get a happy ending. LITERALLY THE ENTIRE POINT OF THIS ENDING IS TO SHOW that redeeming is possible.
