You are truly an inspiration to my daughter and I. My daughter is 7, she was diagnosed with autism at age 4 we adopted her from birth. She was always different, but in a curious inquisitive manner. Standing out from the other kids, she finds the beauty in everything. I wish sometimes others could see what I do, and not judge. I love viewing life through her eyes, and I hope someday she will be able to shower the world with her knowledge, just like you. Your videos are such an inspiration. To understand what you're through can be so difficult at times. Thank you =D

I hope your Daughter shines like a star just as Carly has . And keep in mind If we look past what we see with our eyes .We can see the real person A person that has the wright to our respect and understanding. I have no doubt your daughter puts a smile on the faces of all who meet her . And wish you all the luck and help you deserve . God bless you and yours

Carly you look so joyfilled now. Thank God for the technology that set you free and connected you to everyone! I think you have a great sense of humor too! You look so very free today, and I can tell, despite things you have to deal with, you are happier! I think of you as a flower that has burst through the soil to grow in the loving suns light, among the other flowers. You have amazing family and parents and friends too. Im glad to know you. Thank you for your book and writings and help too.

Hey Carly, I'm proud you are from Toronto! I stumbled across a segment of you and your family on an american program on KZbin. I am now a member of your Facebook fan page. Hope you have a wicked summer! Hit the beach!!

Carly, you are a pioneer. You are eloquently sharing your vision of life! My two sons have Asperger's Syndrome and are both very verbal, with social interaction affected in different ways. People with Autism thrive in the virtual world. If my boys are having a rough day, or become confused by non-autistic communications, no one sees the "melt downs" behind their screen selves. Now a brilliant role model has emerged in you. Thank you, Carly! Count us among your friends and followers!

You are just an incredible person. I am in awe of you. Anything I've accomplished in life---as an "abled" person---pales in comparison to what you have done and are capable of doing. I sure hope my daughter grows up to have the strength, attitude, and spirit that you have. Thank you for sharing your story with the world.

Another example of how computer technologies are crucial to people with autism and autism spectrum disorders. There are probably many people just like Carly, intelligent and aware individuals who are trapped inside their own bodies who could finally be heard through these new technologies.

Carly, look into osteopathic cranial sacral still point induction! It reboots the nervous system and might help with balancing external stimuli and pain. Dolphins do it naturally. Upledger Institute is one resource. I would love to talk with you! Stay strong!

Use iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch app Proloquo, it has menu driven vocabulary capabilities which could make communication way faster than a word doc lap top, as you can set common words and press buttons as fast as typing on a keyboard, thus arranging sentences quickly

Does anyone know if she has issues with damaging laptops? Ive only just found out about her, but in the few videos ive seen she seems to hit tables etc -- if she is damaging laptops we should pool together and get her a toughbook -- then she wouldnt have to worry about it.
