Joel, homie you sound like me. I took my price list down a couple of months ago for that simple fact. I was doing full blown in depth details and now all I charge for are full interior exterior details. When a customers says they don’t need all of that I say the same thing, that’s the only thing I provide because I know once I touch your vehicle I’m going all the way in with it. 👊🏾

@stephen15032 жыл бұрын
I think especially for us mobile detailers it’s just much easier to have 1 service. I find everyone ends up picking the most inclusive package anyway. It’s hard to convince someone the value of a “mini detail” (wash, clay, spray wax, vacuum and wipe down) when the car wash does pretty much that for cheaper-minus the clay of course. You have to provide a service that matches the price.
@Mathewlarge3 жыл бұрын
I only have two interior levels and two levels of exterior details. Like you said it helps with feeling overwhelmed
@LivinginMississauga3 жыл бұрын
Definitely! After doing market research in my area so many detailers offer like 5-8 packages. Absolutely insane. I like Joel's idea of one package. Complete in/out so there's no confusion for anyone, no bs, charge extra for anything excessive or out of the ordinary. That way to you're weeding out (most of) the cheapy people who complain the most, and your process is streamlined.
@nextlevelmobiledetailingllc2 жыл бұрын
I am the same way. I don't offer any express cleaning services. I have 3 packages available. Level 1 Interior (full interior detail) Level 2 Exterior (full exterior detail) and My Level 3 Detail (Level1 + Level2 combined) It keeps it simple. Pet hair, excessive dirt/debris, excessive iron fallout/road debris ect. Is all up charged if necessary.

getting quality money coming in like that is and should be the goal of all detailers. Probelm is driving time ... Driving half way across Los Angeles for someone who just wants half a job means you only get half the money... Better using that time to improve your web presence and position google.

@@DETAILSofficialok because I'm making my prices right now have a bit if experience but haven't been legit yet with website and insurance etc. I'm trying to get the most out of my time my interior and exterior package I have priced at 195-275 Canadian depending on size. I give 15 dollars off when exterior and interior are combined if I were to charge close to 400 for a large vehicle as you do for a combo j would have to have an exterior wash detail and wax/sealant be around 200 which I don't see anyone paying. Just curious how you get around that because I would love to charge that amount down the road. Is it because you have years in the buissness and a big customer base so your comfortable potentially losing a few customers? So I worked on both levels so I don’t lose any money before I would work on the lower level prices but then I’d be hit up higher in people higher in prices so for my employees I get them to do the lower and work and when I charge the price that you charge and even more that’s when I came into it myself or with the worker so my lower ends are about 250 for employees to do it and 500 and above I come in as the owner to work on there car so I don’t miss making money all the time and I’ll explain that to them also on the higher end they come in on the lower end my employees to do it on me sometimes if I’m bored I’ll come in to do it lol
