Can I congratulate you on one of your best vlogs ever. I am nearly in my 80's so my backpacking and diving adventures are now way beyond me, but I really enjoyed seeing all the young people having a great time and getting on so well together. I was fortunate to swim with Whale Sharks in Mexico a couple years ago. Videos, photos...just don't do them justice. The beasts are awesome to behold up close. As a human, you've got to experience them in person.

We did a double boat dive@ sail rock in mid February. We went from Koh Samui. Looks like you got lucky with the visibility, it was only around 4-5m when we did it due to stormy weather. Loved doing the chimney stack! Looking at doing some diving at Koh Tao in the future.

You can get your certification in Thailand! And actually, it’s a great place to learn because it’s warm, beautiful and cheap!

Earn some money, you'll need it!

Working where you can and saving your money is the first step. While you save, think about the places you want to go and the things you want to do. If you're okay with staying in hostels or other cheap accommodations in countries that are not typically super expensive, your money will go along way. Most of the places Christianne travels have accommodations that are maybe $10 a night, and food/transport that are similarly cheap. Once you decide you're traveling for the experience and not for luxury, you open yourself up for a truly unique experience and allow yourself to see more of a country/area. Depending on your circumstances, deciding you will cut back on simple luxuries in your day to day life will also help you save more quickly. Best of luck to you!
