Great farm! I've been meaning to do exactly that for months. I need to get the supplies to build the shelves, because it will be where my dogs go outside. I don't want my dachshunds playing in the plants. They are the main reason I haven't done this yet. Very smart, but nosy dogs. Plus they seem to be able to break into or out of anywhere they want. 🙄 It's a bit annoy spending a weekend building a fence to have them take 30 minutes to get around it.... Can this be done with mosquito inhibitor in the containers? I don't want to cause a mosquito outbreak. My husband was complaining about the rainwater I was collecting, said there was mosquito larva. He's actually allergic to the popular mosquito repellant so he really, really isn't a fan of me having water sitting out.

Hi Ryo. Do you have any tips of reintroducing to a newly set up aquarium? For example, I’d be keen to know if emersed growth trimmings can establish quickly enough to provide the planting “bulk” to reduce risk of algae early on in a new high tech tank? (would they need have roots or are cuttings ok)? Thank you!

Hey mate! Absolute awesome work with all your aquatic mini plant farms! They’re looking amazing bro also just thinking you could possibly... if you built the rack out of wood, connecting them all up with small PVC piping an each one in slightly lowered pigeonholes leading down to the bottom with a ( blacked out fish tank ) with an overflow and a pump pushing the water up to the first mini aquaponic plant farm? lots of fish in a sump tank may help with the plants.

There's a bunch of cat's paw marks on the cabinet lol.. Some of plants didn't do well probably because of the cyanobacteria is hindering their growth with toxins. If you can get a hydrogen peroxide, you can dilute it and spray it on the algae.
@RyoWatanabee3 жыл бұрын
That’s not Cyanobacteria. It’s Spirogyra (pond silk algae). Just be patient, let the plants grow and the algae will go away. All the containers had that algae in the beginning
