How long did the battery last in 20 degree weather? Bet it lasted a day at the most?

Mike, we definitely saw a reduction in the lifespan of batteries, but more so we noticed a loss of effectiveness in the cold winter months.

@@dustinyamchuk7400if the dogs are not near the device, it doesn’t have an impact on them. Or, of course, when the batteries die. Rechargables or sorting out a hardwire would be ideal.

I sincerely hope you aren’t leaving those thin coated dogs out in 20 degree weather during the day. If so, shame on you. Crate train your dogs. I own FIVE dogs and would never dream of leaving them out in the cold like that.

Why do you think we leave our dogs outside? How do you know how cold it is? Our dogs have their own bedroom in our house with an electric door letting them in an out as they please. Let’s not be so quick to judge next time. -Mat
