I love it! I'm so jealous of people that have a dedicated space/room for their animals. I want a room of my own to do the same with my animals, because right now they're sprinkled throughout the house, and it's not my preferred set up...lol! One day...

Wow that’s awesome! I would love to have a bigger dedicated pet/rescue room. But that’s something for the future, as of now I make do with the space my parents let me have for my pets, which is very generous in my opinion and I’m very grateful for it! It’s such a bright room now, and I love the renovations you did to it. I’m sure the pets are loving it :)

honestly, you go girl! It look’s absolutely stunning and I have to agree switching from carpet to hard floor is a LIFESAVER. I remember watching one video of yours like a year or two ago and the difference in rooms is incredible. The sacrifices we make for these lil potatoes, haha!

It's such a weird shelving option but it's super nice that it's all hidden! It was built to perfectly fit Rubbermaid bins so it's great for storage of our holiday stuff too.

This turned out so nice! The carpet in the old room always made me cringe 😬 🤣. I love that you stuck with cages on tables rather than doing the stack cages.....those have gotten so trendy lately and I find pigs much prefer to be up high instead. Your room looks nice and is very organized and functional. Love it.

I am sooooo glad to not have carpet now!! I can't clean the stack cages they would drive me nuts. I had cages on the floor for about 2 months out of the almost 8 years I've had guinea pigs and couldn't do it 😆 thanks!

@@TheTinyHerd same with the stack cages. Every time I try it I immediately regret it. Same with cages more than 2 grids deep. Too hard to clean. I'm old and my back can't handle stacks or deep cages lol

That looks so nice! The only thing I would change about my pet room us, i wish it was bigger , and i wish there were no carpet . My room is small so i had to build stack cages with stands under with storage snd currently working on building top storage.

I love what you have done. We converted one of our daughters old bedrooms into a piggy room. It's no where near as a esthetically pleasing as yours, but they love it. They have the run of the entire space and absolutely love it. I plan to do more to the "piggy plantation" but really cannot until our daughter decides what to do with the leftover things that are still there. I saw the green lights that you have along the ceiling. What kind are they & where did you purchase them?

The black rugs are just from Walmart. I use old cage guinea pig cage liners under the bunnies litter box area because they will chew up fleece.

I have just gotten two bunnies and I’m trying to figure out what to use over top of my carpet that the bunnies won’t chew.. I had foam mats, they chewed them, I now have plastic cube pieces I laid down but they are chewing it as well. I wish I could pull up the carpet but I rent and don’t know what the landlord would think. I want something easier to pick hay up off of as well, as the bunnies are under the Guinea pig tables

I like it very much what a great Upgrade!! I am Just curious how is the air Ventilation in the room? I had my bunnies in a room and closed the Windows for one day and the air was so bad. Also do guinea pigs need sunlight? I have never had them so i wouldnt know :) I really love the kitchen space also!

Ventilation is pretty good, there are vents in the room for AC/heat. I have an air purifier also to keep down the dust! All the pets will get sunlight and fresh air when they get floor time, but any animal kept inside actually doesn't get anything beneficial from sunlight through windows other than knowing when it's daytime because modern glass filters out UVB. It's going to be super easy to give them floor time now with a nice screen door open for fresh air and sunshine 😊
