@dearmikaila oh I'm soooo excited😁 like a kid at Christmas! lol We're still in NC, we leave Thursday, but here in a few hours we're going over to my MIL's sisters house that passed a couple months ago. Her son & DIL are selling most of her things & she had lots of old vintage & antique pieces. My MIL is getting this old antique hutch that has a flour sifter made on the end.. so we're going to pick that up! But I'm going to look & see if there's anything left that i might want🤞🏼🤞🏼 My MIL said they had a yard sale a couple wks ago & was letting stuff go dirt cheap, people were leaving with trash bags & only paying $5-$10!!! Girl if only they had waited til i got here😭 They just don't want the stuff & trying to get rid of it so they can sell the house.. they like all that modern stuff🙄 And her son is a big jerk! But anyways I'm hoping there's some little pieces left!

Hi Mikaila, your sunroom is really coming together. Your furniture finds are amazing, especially the upholstered chairs and ottoman with that lovely trim! The rug goes perfectly with them. Stenciling does take practice, as others have commented there are special stencil brushes. You can practice on scrap wood. The transfers are a terrific option and look adorable.

Great job, it's really coming together. If you decide you want to do a stencil again, I know there is a stencil brush that you need to use so the paint doesn't run together. I like the whimsical stickers and how special your niece helped 😊. Look forward to your next video. Enjoy your day.

Thank you! I feel very blessed with furniture as well, God is so good, I do see expensive prices still but I pass by all of those and just wait until I find the right pieces, I also ask for lower prices often and a lot of people are willing to negotiate :)

I love how this room is starting to look. The chairs/ottoman and rug work very well together. The curtains add a richness to the room. Next time you try to stencil, buy a stencil brush. They are round and have very tightly packed bristles. Then when you put paint on the brush, you pounce it on some paper towels to remove most of the paint. Make sure your stencil is secure and tight on the surface and then pounce lightly with the brush. It will look like it's not enough paint, but when you remove the stencil, you will find the look you are wanting. As usual, you have hit pay dirt when it comes to finding furniture deals. I love those chairs and the ottoman, along with the rug. That is definitely my taste in design. Beautiful.

Foam brush, small amounts of paint. Like most of it removed. Put on in a pouncing motion. Always practice on newspaper or cardboard. Rather than wasting expensive house paint
