I’ve been hunting around for the YSL Lou shearling belt bag from 2019 and haven’t been able to find it. Shearling must have been the thing that year for every luxury brand. Congrats on finding your favorite! I’m still waiting for LV to release the redesigned women’s bumbag since I never bought the original and am hoping for treated vachetta and no folding at the corners to cause cracking 🤞

Real shearling breathes and is more flexible, much heavier in weight and the fur is much denser than synthetic. Synthetic shearling fur is typically called sherpa. Synthetic or fake shearling has a bit of a sheen to its outer side while real shearling outer hide is dull and a bit tacky to the touch.
