Now imagine them soon bringing shards up to 1000 players, and you literally have a trade chat where you can offer loading services ( with the argo exo suit ) on planets or stations to load peoples ships for a fee. We are on the doorstep for very big immersion and simply gameplay variety. I hope server meshing and 4.0 comes soon.

Most of the comments seem positive, so dont take this the wrong way....i hate it lol. I came to this game thinking i would do lots of cargo hauling. The cargo patch killed it for me. I dont want to be a certified box mover, sorry. (and this from someone who enjoyed stacking in a reclaimer!). Some people may like it, more power to ya. I think you should have the option, and you get paid extra to do it yourself, but dont give a huge time sink if i want to magically autoload..land, sell, load, leave. I want to spend my time flying, not walking around with a nerfed tractor beam. Sorry not sorry.

There is still so much faffing about though - you should be able to power up the ship from the co-pilot's seat (or operate the tractor beam from the pilot's). You should be able to use the tractor beam to bring the cargo inside the ship (maybe reorient the ship so the rear is facing the hangar)....etc...to much to-and-fro

Oh, so that's the range of tractor beams... Yeah, I see why they implemented them, they probably sidestep a plethora of issues that would arise with physicalized cargo moving and organizing tools and platforms (not even counting the merely logistical ones). A bit less immersive, sure, but better an actual, solid solution than the pipe dream of the perfect one.

Everything about this is amazing except not making real money and 1 more thing, those type of ships NEED the kind of cockpit where you can see through a glass floor, not like an actual Semi truck, without that (unobstructed) open observatory like cockpit it doesn't really "feel" that nice... and side rooms on the cargo ship, not just like a tube, but where you can have like Firefly "Serenity" like stuff going on... Then it will be perfect! It doesn't have to be the darn Super Yacht either, Check the trailblazer from Star Wars Outlaws for reference on how this could be a more "Social" Ship, and not feel so claustrophobic... Otherwise! How super awesome! Would be cool if a little Pit droid like crew could help you load if grinding that minigame over and over gets old... Though cool at first, I think that might get old after the 100th time...

It would also be neat if there were like people to receive it who are all like, "These are the Stims we needed! Thanks so much! We can continue to work all night mining the Space Gold and get home to our families in our off season in time!" Or "The Medical Supplies, we're saved, it's like Balto!" I want to love this game but the unless they get rid of the insurance mechanic and just let you respawn destroyed ships i wont play. If it was a solo game losing ships would be no big deal since it would be my own fault. But in an oline game where spacejacking can happen I just cant do it.
