I’ve noticed that you tend to do this a lot in your videos when you are sad over something. “There’s worse things in the world”, Jasmine Le just because the world and other people have major problems, it does not mean your problems don’t matter and you shouldn’t feel sad over things that genuinely excite you. You were happy to be going on this trip and it got rescheduled, anyone in your shoes would be bawling out their eyes and be heartbroken. Even when you’re sad over KZbin and content creation, you shouldn’t downplay your emotions. Yes you’re lucky to have this job and we love you wholeheartedly but you’re allowed to be upset that it drains you. It’s really unfair that you downplay your emotions like this and put them second. Your feelings are absolutely valid, you were excited for the trip and then let down. Crying was your way to cope with disappointment, it happens to me all the time too. Earlier this week I was crying because my high school class was HORRID. It's silly to some but it did matter to you and it's fine! And about your feelings on your recent content, those are absolutely WRONG, throw them away as fast as possible. Its totally okay, if you cry! That is a super normal thing to do. Also, you don´t have to pressure yourself because of the people who send you unfriendly messages and emails. Haters are just unsatisfied with themselves. If they are rude it says nothing about you, but alot about them. aw this was such a vulnerable vlog but im so here for it jasmine! i've been watching your videos since you started college, and i've always felt comforted by them because you're just a little bit older than me that i feel like i have a big sister to look up to. tbh i get really anxious about the future, but growing up with you and seeing that you made it through things that i've been challenged by is such a relief from that growing up anxiety. you don't need a "glamorous" life to be loved and admired and i hope you know you're exactly where you need to be 🩷

hi jas! i’m so sorry to hear about the trip :( next time you decide tho go though i would recommend a few things! - definitely leave so much room in your luggage for buying clothes and little things (consider packing 1 luggage full of your essentials and put it inside another empty luggage) - consider getting an e sim for good international data (or you can pay for regular international data with your american phone number) but if you’re staying in korea for a long time i think a korean number is super convenient for making restaurant reservations or signing up for little pop up events - apps: naver map for traveling on bus, metro, and walking (i preferred this over kakao maps), kakao talk for making reservations and what not!, papago for translations, shuttle (if you want to be able to deliver food if you’re too tired) i hope we get to see you go soon and love u so much

also im so glad you said you're still proud of yourself because you should be! it really resonated hearing you say that part of growing up is being okay with the life you have. i have been feeling that way too lately. don't beat yourself. i for one am EXCITED to continue seeing your post-grad life. i've been loving it! i love content from women in their twenties finding themselves and just sharing their creativity, thoughts, and interests. beyond school is when life really start.
