Hello everyone, my name is Alexey, I live in Russia in the city of Yekaterinburg. My four-legged friend's name is Pyosel.
I came to my forest camp, today I brought with me a large bucket to collect water and a cordless chain saw. The weather is nice outside, spring is in full swing. Grass grew on the roof of my dugout, which I planted one year ago.
It's cold inside the dugout. I immediately fire up the oven inside, I will need heat during the painting of the countertop, so the varnish will dry much faster. A few days ago I brought a white waterproof varnish, I think the countertop near the white sink should also be white.
Outside, near the washbasin, I hung a new thermometer so that I always know the temperature outside. There is a lot of wood under the tarp, I want to cut it into small pieces to fold and use later.
Next, I decided to spend some time playing with my beloved dog. After we played around, I started painting on the second layer.
The steps that lead to my dugout have become very dirty, a lot of garbage has accumulated on them, which needs to be swept away with a broom and thrown away. Walking on clean stairs is much more pleasant.
Next, I prepared some firewood and carried it inside the dugout. I also collected birch bark for lighting the stove.
The barrel that I brought in the morning I put in a place where there are few trees so that rainwater can get there.
It's time to cook dinner. The recipe is simple, I will need canned tuna, olives, green onions, feta cheese, hard cheese, sour cream, spices. All this needs to be mixed. Next, I took a loaf and cut out the core to put the stuffing there. I wrap the bread in foil and send it to the oven for a few minutes. Done, you can eat.

Hello Alex, why don't you stretch a foil between 4 trees to catch rainwater? 2 corners at the same height and 2 corners slightly lower so that the water can flow directly into the barrel. You cover the barrel opening with boards so that no leaves and dirt can get in! Greetings Walter 👍🏻

I suggest you get a iron wedge to split your large logs. It’s easier because you are striking the wedge with an ax, a mallet or a sledgehammer to drive it through the log instead of trying to split the log with the ax. Try it. You’ll realize it much easier

Alexey, the weather looks perfect there now, no snow and green grass coming through. Pyosel will be happy ,he can run around better now. We are just starting our winter but it really doesn’t get cold here. You should start a little herb or vegetable garden, with a raised timber frame….as you like to cook….all is looking wonderful there.

Another lovely video. I love tuna (but not hot) and I don’t like olives but apart from that the rest looked delicious.
