Can’t wait for the transmission build on your lb7!! The more specific and detailed you could be would be awesome, I’d love to replicate your process in my LLY! What’s your fuel and turbo set up for that DK converter? I’ve got a drop in 64mm, 45% injectors and a sportsman cp3 and curious what converter would match well

Glad to hear that you are looking forward to the build. The videos are probably going to be long but I am going to pack as much info in them as passable. I have a FASS 165, SAC 45% injectors, and a stock CP3. Personally when choosing a converter I would talk with Evan or Mike L at Inglewood transmissions and they will not steer you wrong on what one to go with.

Hey maaan!! I’m new to your channel. I to own a late 04 LB7,2500 hd, SLT I live in Maryland on the east coast and flew out to Texas to buy my truck then drove it home. Great time and I love the truck. Since then I experienced a short that kept killing my ecm and nobody but me found it. 12v hot all the time to the ecm smoked it Everytime. Bought a new wire harness and new ecm and now I think I’m gonna have to do a relearn on the ecm. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping in on my channel! Is it a late 04 with an LLY or an early 04 with an LB7? That would be a fun road trip. That is very strange that it was doing that. How many ECM's did you go through? If you put a new harness in it and are not having anymore issues I would say you found the problem and fixed it.
