Oh, and for Malefique - I'm pretty sure it says somewhere that Eric Valette (the director) is the "Director of One Missed Call*" and then the star is to let you know he directed the OMC remake, not the original. As far as i know, there is no remake of Malefique being planned. Haven't seen Malefique yet, look forward to your review.

I've recently watched the Cloverfield movie, and I really enjoyed it. But when I watched the beginning for at least 5 or 10 min, I didn't find it too boring as I thought it was going to be.

Cloverfield is The Best!!! Blu-Ray version comes out May, 20th 08 in stores and on Amazon. I really liked that movie, but your right about the begining. I quess youd have to ponder about it to really appreciate it. I hope they make that 1.5 thing. I downloaded it, but im planning on getting the blu-ray thing.

I picked up "Inside" but haven't watched it yet. I really loved "The Orphanage"; I agree even though it had a very creepy feel it wasn't as scary as everyone makes it out to be. Anyways I still think it's the best movie I've seen so far this year. Also, do you guys watch "Kaiju" movies???

Thanks, i love "The Quiet Earth" probably cos its one of the first and only New Zealand Science fiction films, i got a nice poster from France of it recently, some of the scenes in Quiet Earth were used in "I am Ledgend" .. but thats ok...Quiet Earth is weid and not traditional narative i think.. probably quite slow for people now... Later..

It is a Mexican Movie (not spanish)... and yes ... there are dubbed versions .... but they are a lot better in the original language .... by the way ... there's part I and II and they are heavily influenced by The Evil dead.... they are really good and feature really creepy and tounge-in-cheek secuences

I disagree with you with the I Want Someone To Eat Cheese with film. I also was like you, I couldn't wait to buy this film, but I was highly dissapointed. I found the movie sloppy and forgettable. Loved Cloverfield, but the dvd was weak! Did you get that one at BestBuy because when I went to BestBuy I noticed that 1 out of every 3 dvds had a special dvd just cealed onto the back. I got it and it was an extra 30 minutes behind the scenes with T.J. Miller.

It's superb as a shock film and nothing else. You feel really really creeped out after watching it, something not many films can do. I know you are pretty easy on horror movies so you may enjoy this one, but again expect some really really disgusting scenes and no real plot. It's basically the guinea pig movies from japan if you ever saw those.
