So glad to see N54 content again! I have to comment about one thing...You need a 1/4 inch line to that BOV. I run the exact same setup but i use the Vader solutions BOV adapter which gives you a true 1/4 line all the way to the BOV. Your boy made and showed an adapter 1/8 to 1/4 but it can't be as good. i would be curious as what Ally (no idea how he spells his name) thinks about this? Can't wait for the single turbo!!!

Nice looking N54. I don't understand at all why you would put those DCI's back on there. NEVER!!! But your car, your choice. Lastly, I'm wondering why you would go single turbo, instead of just getting larger twins??? I solved the highend/lowend problem by putting a slight larger turbo and a larger turbo on mine. So I still have the no lag lowend torque, and the topend power the smaller stock turbos didn't have. The single larger turbo has horrible lag, which is just pure physic's, AND it kills the lowend torque, which is the BEST thing about these cars. Still like coming back and watching your vids. Cheers man!

I have a VRSF charge pipe with twin Billet Turbosmart blow off valves with 60mm trumpets on each bov! It's an expensive kit but i wanna do mine different than everyone else. Charge pipe & twin turbosmart bov's were close to 550 bucks. Plus i run the AFE twin cone intake. Which is expensive as well 450 bucks. But inside the plastic runners is a heat wrap that's why its such a good intake. I run Agency 3" catless down pipes & a agency intercooler. Which when i bought that intercooler it was 700 bucks but their stuff is the best!. I have a radium catch can, HPS couplers & clamps going on along with a factory carbon rear spoiler some other really mice stuff. Video of my 09 black on black 135i M Sport is coming out when the weather breaks. I don't do videos but this will be one video explaining everything on my build & how i went about certain things.

Love your channel, just wondering what’s the length of the 1/4 vacuum line that comes with the charge pipe? Not sure if I need to buy a new line since I need to tap a 1/4 fitting onto the manifold, and I don’t know if the line that comes with the charge pipe will reach. Thanks!
@Mills_WZ3 жыл бұрын
Tial recommends you drill into the manifold to supply a larger vaccum line for the bov. Burger Motorsports offers an adapter for around $70 that allows for a larger line without drilling. Are you going to rock the setup as is with the two vacuum lines? I am using the same nipple for the BOV the diverter valves connected to. I have an upgraded charge pipe and Tial bov and I have heard turbo flutter on deceleration and I can feel a power loss at high boost, sometimes even throwing the car into limp mode. I am most likely going to go with the BMS adapter to hopefully solve my issues.

I’ve had my e36 for the longest time and it’s gonna be my cool little daily driver. But at the end of the year I’m getting a newer BMW. And I can’t decide between the e90 335i sedan, e92 M3 Coupe or e60 M5(yes I know it’s a shit show but I do have a mechanic for the maintenance same guy that does work on my e36)
@Karim2clean3 жыл бұрын
Get an e92 M3. I’ve had all 3. The n54 335 is going to be fun to modify and it makes turbo noises which is sweet! You feel like a tuner messing with mhd lol, buuuut...it’s a unreliable pos, no matter what you do, shit just breaks on it lmfao...and stock turbos aren’t even all that, they’re weak after 4500 Rpms. I loved the e60 M5 but it was just too expensive to run and drive on a daily basis, but it was very fun and a sleeper. Now the e92 M3. Maaaan, lemme tell you. Best daily driver hands down, fuel economy is not bad if you drive casually, perfect power for daily duties, sounds the best in my opinion, and plenty of aftermarket if you want to make it faster. Oh, and it just had the best drivetrain and chassis, it was so well balanced and the dct is the best transmission you can get on the market! Edit: My M3 was beat on daily, It lived in the redline and it didn’t burn any oil, didn’t leak any oil, never had misfires, I never even replaced my throttle actuators or rod bearings. Had it since 60k, sold it at 115k. I would always do the black stone labs oil analysis and my bearing wear was always in check, nothing to worry about. The guy I sold it to replaced the bearings and sent me a pic and they didn’t look bad at all for 115k. The car was a 08 model as well!

@@Flamef30 they’re both fun cars tbh. You shoukd drive both and see which one you like. In my case, I prefer the e92 M3. E46 isn’t a bad car, but tbh they’re getting close in price to the e92 so I’d rather have an e92 m3
