Great video! yet I don't get these brushes... you aren't using Lightroom Classic are you? :D thanks!
@Nateinthewild Жыл бұрын
I am using Lightroom classic! This video is from several years ago now, so the menu system in your Lightroom likely is quite a bit different than what I have in this video.

Love your editing tips Nate! Beautiful eye for the right levels of color/exposure. Looking forward to seeing more of your content and I enjoyed watching your process step-by-step! It would be great to see if you do any photoshop editing and if so, what you use in photoshop!

I notice you set your parameters prior to establishing any mask. That works if you have a good sense for what corrections to make, and the amounts. But are there downsides to creating the mask (or a sample of it) first, then setting the sliders?
@Nateinthewild Жыл бұрын
That's a great question, and I think you can do it either way with equal success. When I recorded this several years ago Lightroom didn't do red masks, so if you didn't have parameters set then you couldn't see what you were masking. These days I think it doesn't matter as much.

Awesome video. Wildlife editing feels a bit foreign at times
@Nateinthewild4 жыл бұрын
it's definitely a bit of a foreign concept, but the more you do it the easier it gets

Great vid Nate! I love the brush adjustment tool as well, and use it all the time. It looks like for both these videos you were using flow 100. Perhaps you could show us an instance in an upcoming vid where you'd drop that flow to get the right results, and when/why you'd do that? Keep up the great work brotha.

That's a great idea, I'll definitely incorporate that into a future video!

I’m definitely sitting here watching this and thinking “NATE! Nate! Fix those greens! All this needs is to fix those greens!” And then you fixed the greens. Mind blown. Really though this is great. Came for the affiliate link, stayed for the fox.

Brilliant video. I love the way you don’t waste time at the start and get right into it…. We are all sick of watching those logo stingers with the music, etc., and I know they are supposed to bolster the brand or something but the best way to bolster your brand and win is to be good at what you do, and you are.
