I used to run Garmin but it was before the 34 transducer. At that time I liked lowrance a lot better and have just stuck with it since then. I feel they are about equal. I don’t think you can go wrong either way.

FFS Garmin > Lowrance > Humminbird. Humminbird better step up their game on FFS.

As a former Lowrance proponent I would never go back to them again! Their customer service to assist buyers totally sucks! I now have Humminbird and am really happy with their support. Plus the unit quality is so much than that of their competitors. No disrespect to Garmin but definitely sell your Lowrance!

Only thing about the Humminbird’s chart compared to Garmin I don’t like is garmin my boat on screen isn’t centered, they put the boat at the bottom allowing more screen in the direction you are facing. Changing the orientation doesn’t change this

I think they are both really good man. A guy can win with either one. So far this year between 2 BPT and 2 Elites Lowrance is leading in wins 3-1 so 🤷🏻‍♂️
