for anyone wondering, here is joey's animal list (in chronological order): - Wolf (male husky, rescued from craigslist (?) as puppy) - Storm (male husky, white, adopted from a rescue as puppy, lives w Daniel) - Lark (female husky/german shepherd mix, adopted from a rescue as puppy (?), lives w Daniel) - Lark had babies (accident at doggy daycare)! seven of them (Red, Teal, Lavender, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue) - Moon (male husky, kept one of lark's babies-Teal) - Shadow (male husky, J&D tried to keep Lark's baby Red, but Moon & Shadow struggled with littermate syndrome so Shadow was rehomed like the others) - Sakura (black female pregnant rescue cat) (kept her) - Sakura's kittens, the zodiac litter (Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) - Azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter) - Hen (foster mama from junkyard) - junkyard pups (Duck, Goose, Shark, Otter, Bear, Moose) - foster mama dog Roo - Roo's litter (Hare, Tiger, Bison, Panda, Raccoon, Monkey) - Daenerys (white foster mama kitty) - D's kitties, the Greek Goddess litter (Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, Nemesis, Rhea) - took care (for a couple of days) of a mama duck and her 9 babies that wandered into his backyard and got stuck - May (foster mama husky) - May's babies, the Months litter (January, February, March, April, June, July, August, September, October, November, December) - Coco (husky foster mama pt2, false pregnancy, surrogate to Disney pups) - husky babies abandoned in box (Disney litter--Copper, Pluto, Bolt, Scar, Bruno, Darla) - Daisy (husky foster mama pt3) - Daisy's babies (flower/tree litter; Goldie, Lilly, and Daphne didn't make it; Ash, Cyprus, Oren) - Lacey/Onyx (black & white foster kitty mamma) - Lacey/Onyx's kittens, gem litter (Opal, Pearl, Peridot, Flint, Mica, Jasper) - 4 blind Frenchies (Mike Wazowski, Baby Jack-Jack, Linguini, Lea Michele) - Monty had puppies (12, one stillborn) *Montana/Monty (female golden retriever) is often in videos; she is Daniel's (Joey's ex) dog, but often comes to Joey doggy daycare *the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than Moon) and then renamed! some of them have instagrams and have shared their new names/stories, but I'm not including those here *I first created this list a long time ago and add to it every time Joey takes in a new animal...because I have it saved I just copy/paste it onto every (I try, but it's more like "most") animal-related video he posts, so no, it actually doesn't take a lot of my time or effort. Just a little clearer info on the weight, Daniel did the correct weights on his channel and they were originally all ranging in weight between 6.5-8 ounces, aside from purple who was 5.5. So they’ve essentially all doubled in size in their first week.

I have 5 one week old puppies today. His pups look waaaay heavier than 14 oz here. They look closer to 20+ oz, if I had to guess. My 14 oz boy fits easily into the palm of my hand (with legs overhanging).

I know it’s up to you and Daniel but I just realized that Monty’s babies were born around Veterans Day. And I know you are planning to find them loving homes. Have you thought of seeing if you can have one do training etc. for a veteran that may need a special friend. I know a lot have ptsd and other issues and do need support dogs. Just a thought.

PAUSE AT 11:50 :::: Jaspers EYES. They have a ring of blue around the pupil then its full on gold/yellow. The blue ring semi looks green... HE IS A SHOW STOPPER. Oh my God. Beauty as a lil beast! I think the big white patch on the center of the face REALLY brings out that blue/green ring around the pupil He Jasper truly looks like his mama Onyx. I heard on Daniels latest video that they have to literally carry her out and force her to take breaks to pee so although they show the breaks, she is with them most of the time. It just seems like longer in a vlog. And Joey was probably reweighing them while she went to the vet to get her mastitis checked (she ended up being fine btw)

Keep in mind Golden retrievers are a high activity dog! They also require constant stimulation or they become distructive they're very intelligent. The breed has hip dysplasia as well as sensitive stomach issues. They tend to have allergies and need specialty food. I suggest doing lots of research. They're very cute but require lots of time, attention, and Money!!! The vet is super expensive especially when you have to make frequent trips due to health issues!

@@gringa978 I highly agree with you !! I have 13 golden retrievers cuz my 2 golden retrievers gave birth and we kept all the puppies and now they’re almost 4yo!! Dw they’re all now neutered! Because in my country we don’t have that much vets that neuter dogs so when our dogs gave birth we drove 3hrs to a vet that neuters dogs! Then when the puppies were old enough to get neutered we drove again! Idk why I’m saying this lmaooo! My point is if you’re getting a golden retriever u should always provide them with the best care( speaking from experience)

You should get paracord collars the next time you gave puppies! They don’t catch on anything and don’t fall off much! They come in different sizes to fit different breeds.

@@viperblackjewel3915 yeah but the paracord ones are less dangerous that these, they don’t stick to anything at all. We used them for puppies from birth to 8 weeks and they worked much better than the Velcro ones that are constantly falling off because they get stuck to things. The paracord ones are more like a normal collar material but can be adjusted easily just like the Velcro ones for growing puppies

@@viperblackjewel3915 but if you see all of Joeys pens they wouldn’t get stuck on any of them any quicker than the Velcro ones. Also the Velcro ones aren’t quick release unless the Velcro physically sticks to something and the puppy pulls. If something got caught under the Velcro collars and the puppy pulled it would still choke unfortunately. Also, the Velcro ones can be swallowed when the puppies get bigger because they keep falling off. I have heard of puppies getting blockages and needing surgery because of it. It can still happen with the paracord ones but they are less likely to fall off

I was trying to say something would have to separate the velcro to get it off eg it sticking to a blanket or something. Unfortunately all collars are a choking hazard, except the quick release cat collars but they are extremely dangerous for older puppies who may swallow them

Hey Joey if you wanna weigh the pups you should put the scale on a hard surface to get an accurate weight. We use a similar one at my hospital and when you place it on fabric or a soft surface it affects the numbers sometimes😊

About the collar situation. You kan melt some wax in difrent collors and give each one a drop in the back of their neck. It will not fall of or anything like that

😭 I would DEFINITELY adopt a kitten or puppy if I lived on the west coast. I’m in DC though 😢 My 8yo loves animals, he wants one of the kittens but we are just too far away. I hope they are adopted soon. Edit: I know for human babies they actually lose weight a week or so after they are born then they gain weight like crazy again. So maybe it’s the same for puppies as well?

The weights you're getting don't match the size of the puppies. I weigh fosters frequently and I'm familiar with what 5oz, 10oz, 16oz, 32oz etc looks like. I don't know if your scale is broken? Units wrong? Tared? or what exactly is going on but I'm 100% sure those weights are incorrect. Your original measurements sounded accurate and unless they're made of air at this point the larger puppies look to be around 2 pounds/32 oz.

Instead of relying on the collars to stay on, you could paint a toe nail of each puppy, with their respective color and/or on the nail in order of their birth. For example looking at them straight on the 1st puppy would have the farthest nail to the left or right painted, the 2nd puppy would have the next nail over painted, etc.

OMG the puppies are so cute just making a tip but if you see a cat or a dog with fleas make sure you make a ring of soap and water around there neck first. Or else the fleas might run up to the head and also if they fight let them do that because that’s how they learn how to play nice so if they get hurt they learn how to control the right force and what hurts so yeah but if it gets too chaotic then probably try to separate them😊
