In the countless years I have been watching all your videos this has got to be one of my absolute favourites! The intro, exterior shots, editing, the adversity of the engine blow up concluding in the euphoria of the final race after all that team work! What a f**king effort boys... Huge respect. & all on a weekend where you had non race stuff* going on ... Truly inspirational mate & no doubt lots of memories ❤ *not sure how else to write it 😔💔

10/10 effort 10/10 race 11/10 video I've been watching you for years and this is definitely one of your best videos Dan, unbelievable effort from everyone involved in the engine swap and what a story to tell, even if it's a day you'd like to forget for certain reasons 🧡

Still can't see that Race 2 performance being beaten for drive of the year. Poetic to see the heart of the Teg in action when it was most needed. And fair play to the lads for the engine job, they'd put some of the pros to shame with that speed. And we've got another comeback drive to look forward to!

Bitter sweet day I’m sure. This is probably the best motorsport video I’ve ever seen. It’s got it all. Fantastic effort from everyone involved

Huge respect for this video Dan, from the racing to the quick engine swap and editing.... As many have said, easily your best work yet. You're absolutely blessed to have so many mates who are willing to muck in and lend a hand when you need it. None of my mates near home have any interest in cars, so I do everything on my own most of the time. This group of guys are legends for getting you back on track for that race! Honourable mention for your #1 fan from Northern Ireland (also my part of the world), what a weekend he picked to go over 😂 Finally, I'm so sorry for your loss 😔💔No doubt your Mum is proud of what you achieved that day in the face of adversity, and for many other things as well.

There's no words anyone can say, both your smiles in the car say it all ❤ Lost my mum at 57, it takes time, be as kind to yourself as you can, and just find a way to carry on.. cause what else can we do. This video was epic.. heart in mouth stuff on track and wouldn't be right without you overtaking on the grass 😂 first video of yours i seen was you passing on the grass in the dc2 at the ring 😅 I think your living a lot of peoples dreams in these videos but I'm under no illusions as to the amount of time, effort, blood sweat and tears going into all this, you're out there making it happen 💪 What a group of mates ❤ you can't buy that.. i met josh at brands when he was down with work and had a chat, proper genuine top lad there 💪 Just wanted to say thanks for the video, it has brightened my day when I was feeling down 🙌 Just keep driving fast 👊🏻

Given the fact this happened out of the blue, the content, cinematography and the banter are top class. Most lads would have packed up and went home to lick wounds. Not Danny and the boys. Truly one of the best videos I've ever watched on here, was having flashbacks to old super touring. If racing were about talent and hard work not the bank account like it is Danny would be up there beating out the pros every week. As is you and the whole team are a huge inspiration to the rest of us working racers. Anybody who's tried to run a competitive car I'm sure can recognize the insane amount of effort put into this and has to applaud it. Condolences for your loss and I'm sure she's cheering you on. What a video, great how everyone came together and a fantastic result. My only criticism. Missed a trick not putting the clock from 24 in between the engine change scenes lol Lovely little tribute to your mum at the end aswell.
@dannyDC2 Жыл бұрын
problem with the 24 clock thing was it made it look like we had loads of time to get the car ready, and i didn't record every little struggle. So sacked it off otherwise people will be people commenting "you had 3 hours to put the engine in between 6 people wtf?!" although i'm sure that comment will come

so I watched this video when it first came out and while i was super impressed then, upon revisiting a year later, Im now even more mindblown. Absolutely hero effort by everyone involved. after having a similar experience this season swapping a friends engine in the paddock to get him back out, ive gained so much more perspective on how much of a monumental effort went down here. then to top it off you went on what i would consider nothing short of a killer rampage through the field. absolute insanity and hats off to you sir
