Feels good to watch a movie anytime you want, dont have to rely on internet or netflix etc dropping films on a whim... i love the fact i can just pull of my shelf and watch 👍🏼 plus streaming movies are always pixelated, blu rays are cleaner.

Can we talk about the score piece from ghostbusters 😜 Awesome Collection by the way I’ve only been collecting for about two years and it’s relatively big in size but then again I also collect movies from the US and Germany and I’m also a big supporter of the 3D format. In terms of the 4K format I’m just literally collecting the MCU movies at present but I’m waiting on the complete back catalogue to get released before I commit to purchasing Captain Marvel, Endgame Spider-Man far from home and whatever else gets released in the future.

haha! LOVE the Ghostbuster score!! How do you feel about 4K? Is it worth the leap in your opinion?

I haven’t got my 4K TV set up yet i’ve been in my place for about a year (I’m on my second tenancy) and I’ve just had other things this past year to deal with I should have my TV up by the end of the year. From the bearing to Chester for K player and sound bar, I’m looking at the Sony you UBP X800 (multiregional version) although I wouldn’t say no to the M2 model because he has everything with you UBP X800 has plus Dolby Vision. The one benefit to 4K which nobody really talks about is definitely no region mark regardless of territory. In terms of picture quality when compare to Blu-ray I think it’s a mixed bag, with all that I know about studios there seems to be a lack of consistency. I’m also concerned about what cuts are getting 4K transfers, for example aliens (one of my favourite movies ever) I never want to see the theatrical version get a 4K transfer because it’s an abridged version of the movie when compare to the special addition. When Lionsgate decided to release terminator two (another favourite of mine) (yes I like James Camerons early work, avatar not so much but I’d still have it in my collection so when I’m bored shitless I can watch it, yes I view Avatar in that category). Point is is that Lionsgate never gave us the special edition as a 4K transfer but gave us the theatrical version, again not a big fan of the theatrical version I love the special edition but I’m not keen on the ultimate cup which is the special edition with the different ending where are you see Sarah Connor as an elderly lady. The other thing to consider is it also boils down to cost so for a new release movie you’re looking at twenty five pound and for an upscale transfer / legacy title you’re looking at twenty pound ( that’s between two- seven pound extra on top of what the 3-D release would cost). 4K has a broader problem anyway because your best bet is to watch anything in 4K on a 55 inch screen or bigger because pixels and screen real estate, anything lower than 55 and it’s basically a really good 10 EP image (more or less). Your best bet to save money and wait for all the movies that you want to buy on 4K end up in the two for £30 offer at HMV or Zavvi online. If movie studios want to put in a good amount of effort for a top-notch transfer that makes it worth the upgrade over the Blu-ray then that might even gauge consumer confidence. Disney is the worst offender I’ve seen screenshots of solo in 4K and it looks God awful (also doesn’t help how about film was shot as there’s too many dar Disney is the worst offender I’ve seen screenshots of solo in 4K and it looks god-awful (also doesn’t help how about film was shot) too many dark scenes and the actors blend into the background. Disney want to cheaper now to get movies out in 4K and the funny thing is in the UK (where we call home) outside of Marvel/Lucasfilm Disney don’t really care about releasing anything else in the UK yet the US is a different story. Mainly because the US home video market is anal retentive and it constantly likes new and shiny and will drop perform at the drop of a dime (cough cough 3-D Blu-ray cough cough). I’ve probably gone on a bit of a rant but I hope I’ve made enough sense and hopefully answered your question along the way 😜😂😜

Great collection but please do another video holding your camera horizontically in widescreen mode. So much more pleasant to the eye!!!

You're right about the camera but it was done on my phone through KZbin and the picture came out sideways lol so I redid it in portrait. Don't know what happened!
