Am I the only one that prefers Pat's matte shades? I like the special shades as well but those are hella messy and also, Bobbi Brown has singles that are the same as Pat's most special shades (blitz astrals) and you can pick and choose the colors you are most interested in. I also really like Pat's shimmers that are on the softer side as well, they look high end on the eyes.

Such a fun video! I currently have about 37 ish palettes (minis included, singles not included) but I decluttered a lot this year. I have gotten so much more clarity on what shades and undertones suit me and what I actually enjoy wearing. I’ve also come to terms with the fact that I probably won’t become a BYOP girlie, no matter how much I’d like that 😅 As fall and winter are coming, I’ll be getting more use again of certain palettes that I wasn’t reaching for much the last months and I can’t wait!

I feel like sometimes we just gotta accept what we are and what we aren't! And I feel the exact same way that the more I use my makeup, the more I see what works for me and the more I realize what truly doesn't! It's not about hoarding truly, it's about deriving joy from what you love and letting go of what you don't :)

Rouge haunts me every time I see it, lol. I love the color story! Also, the Hela palette is such a fave of mine too. 😊 And I have the petite versions of both Viseart mattes palettes of Neutral and Dark. I reach for them a ton too.

I think I have 23 palettes total and I’m really happy with that! Over the years I just realize I reach for my singles more and more so my palettes are mostly for interesting mattes hehe. Agree that the viseart formula is just so good! I love their petit matte palettes so much! Next sale I’m considered getting the cool toned one!

Yes I definitely keep my singles close by at all times and usually just build looks around those vs palettes these days. The bigger my singles collection gets the smaller my palettes collection gets!

I still want the sea talk palette! also the colourpop dream st palette was the best one they ever released and Revlon slight flex is such a good quad. I asked for that psyches box palette as a gift bc of Mariah leaonard and I felt so bad for decluttering it but none of the shades even showed up on me and I never used it 😭

Yeah the Psyches box barely shows up on me these days as well honestly and I know I’m a good deal fairer than you! Slight Flex is my fave Revlon quad! It’s a part of my minis collection that I may eventually do a separate video on!

Omg. I know I DM'd you before when you posted about doing this video... but I recounted mine and I have 128 palettes (not including singles) 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ It doesn't feel like a ton to me which is crazy, and I really try to cycle through them... I do constantly give away palettes that I don't use also lol maybe I do have a problem 😂 Palettes we both have: Fantasy Cosmetica - rogue, druid Oden's Eye - sea talk, jewels and gem, stone and rock (I LOVE those two), Hela, Alva Colour pop - the child, mandalorian Cosmic brushes - Serenity (I'd love to pick up Muse) Natasha Denona - Bronze, Yucca, I Need a Nude Āthr - I recently decluttered a different one that I had!

i also have around 50 palettes but I count my small palettes/duo/ trio. It’s difficult to get really good use out of them all because you feel guilty some others are neglected 😅 Beautiful collection! Nice range in brands and color stories

Fun video! I actually don’t think 46 palettes, or even 50, is a lot . . .particularly for someone with a KZbin chanel. I would love to see how you deported those Flower Beauty palettes! I have deported some of my PML palettes, but only the cardboard packaging six pans. I have removed some very pink/fuchsia shades and orangey coral shades and replaced them with matte browns I prefer more. Thank you for taking the time to do this!

I feel like ~50 makes sense at least for KZbin, especially since you use some as a source of singles as well. I have 5 palettes, plus four demipermanent BYOPs and about 150 singles. The only thing I'd consider buying right now is a Dark Edit palette because like you I enjoy smokey colorful looks

I think I'm around the 10-15 mark. I've depotted most of my palettes and use them as singles, but the most I've ever had is 15. I don't really enjoy palettes unless they're customizable.

I've bought from every launch from oe except last year's Xmas launch & still regret it! 😢 I have to say, the Alva palette shimmers were some of my most used face highlights for about a year after I got the palette. The mattes are all a little too same same but I am glad they included the one sunny yellow. Seatalk became a fast fav! The shades dolphin tail & smoky pearl absolutely blew my mind when used together. I wore them as my every day look for over a month!

I’m so sorry to hear that! I do think that a lot of their production and shipping issues have been improving from what I can tell! My experience with their newest palette, which I have a review going up soon on, was stellar.
