Oh Ashley, I've been watching your videos since 2020. Stopped after giving birth and was totally off plants for 1.5 years because the twins took so much of a toll on me. I finally now almost 2.5 years feel like I have space for my plant hobby again. You can say good bye to plants and maybe the hobby comes back again. No pressure :)

Same i did not have time and energy for plants for a couple years after having a baby. And baby aside my interest in plants has ebbed and flowed. I’m sure Ashley feels pressure to keep up the plant content because that’s how her channel started but I think those of us watching understand that that’s not where her life is at and that’s ok

After my baby was born I became disinterested in my plants, massively downsized. It wasn’t until two and a half years later I started getting into them again and I’m slowly building my collection. Motherhood is A LOT, it’s a lot. Simultaneously the best thing and also the hardest thing to ever happen to you.

Hang in there!! After both my pregnancies I went through a stage of plant neglect.. it lasted a few months each time. It passes.. atleast for me it did both times.

Babies are so all encompassing i dont blame you. I didn't really get into plants until my now 7yo was a toddler and I set upon the task of saving the pothos he'd pretty much destroyed. You'll have time for all the hobbies again one day

Just wanted to echo what everyone else has said, that it took me a long time after having a baby to have interest in my plants again. It’s ok if your plant hobby takes a back seat, you have more pressing matters right now. You might find that as Kai gets older you may have more time and energy for plants and take up the hobby again. In the meantime we enjoy seeing your little bean ❤

After having my 2 babies I had to back off my plants thank goodness I mostly had succulents because just don't have time to water all the time❤❤❤❤❤❤ I got rid of many plants so I only have my favorites.😅
