I think you defeated them once or twice, now they know and are mad at you, hence grieves you. But I don't think they were as bad though, I think enemies were worse. Candle with no positioning or kiting knowledge, Scyther uniting on low health, sometimes not uniting at all, he doesn't know for sure when to unite.
