This is a great idea in building them both together, should be fun. I had a 69 Charger RT with a 440 with an Edlebrock high rise with a couple of Holy quads on it, 3/4 lift cam and a bunch of other expensive toys that I put into it 👍🏻😂. Mine was called Canary Yellow with a black vinyl top (those were pretty popular back in the day). Gertrude tuned a constant 10.50 with power steering belt on, off, 10.48 😂 every 10th of a second helped 😂😂😂 but I had fun. Did I mention it had an automatic transmission? I took it out and sent it to a guy by the name of Mr Norm at Grand Spaulding Dodge in the Chicagoland area, he tricked that damn thing out like I’ve never seen before (it worked great with the 412 Detroit Locker that I put in)👍🏻😂 Nice to hear that you too are an old gear head like me, old 😂 Have fun with these builds. Ya need to get back on your N scale too, you can never get enough of modeling, it keeps us going. Ron

hello Ronald... i guess it don't take very much for those 440 to make HP... the one i raced also had a automatic tranny. with a 9" convertor... he was running in the 11's.. i didn't know that at the time the race took place... between me ..my cousin.. & some friends lost $2500 that night ... i'll be back on the layout before the end of the year...stay tune for more updates...thx 4 watching & your comment... vinny
