Been there done that !! I can completely relate to EVERY point that you mentioned. I joined matrimonial apps in a similar curiosity way that you did and came across mostly dumbasses through that. The ones that werent dumbasses didnt give me a "husband/boyfriend" vibe and I ended up being friends with them. Then tried moving to dating apps and had my share of horrible experiences with dating apps too. Got fed up and gave up on it all. After few months my friends intervened and i tried my luck at the dating scene again through the same apps and finally met the most amazing person i could have asked for as my life partner. Im oh so happy and at peace with the person i am with. After dating for 2 years we are due to get married in Nov 2021. After so many horrible and cringeworthy dating scenes, im glad that chapter is over for me :D
