@@marieperin96, tarot cards are 78 and have specific meanings, with specific names, with major and minor acanas, 78 cards per deck, while oracle cards can be about what the creator wants to and they have a smaller number of cards and usualy they come with a guide book in wich you have the meaning of the cards. 🙂

The spirit animal oracle deck was my first deck and I love it so much 💕 I wasn’t out shopping for one, I was just at a meditation class my friend wanted to go to - and these cards were out and I drew a few and was the meanings and it really spoke to me and my situation and I swear I’ll take that deck with me to the grave.

Maybe get the work your light deck if you are Catholic or Christian. It has images of mother Mary and mentions Jesus and the images and text are really beautiful. If your family are buddist or Hindu or anything like that I'd recommend the yogic path. Or you could just get one with plants or animals or a self care one to start out with. Edit: Just want to mention the work your light oracle deck isn't centered on a specific religion. Check out unboxing videos if it interest you

I use board game cards lololol. There's this game called "Dix It" they have really cool cards that can be helpful for readings. I've also used apples to apples cards LMAO. Anything to do my own readings at this point.

I got into tarot last year. I do reading for myself. Due to excitement I ended up buying 9 decks (6 Oracle decks + 3 tarot decks). Now my mom won't let me by anymore because I spent a lot of money in it + even though my parents have no problem with this and are rather curious how it works, she is scared people will tag me as a "witch" because most of the people of our society is still not fully educated about tarot and thinks it is demonic. And now I am sad that I cannot buy anymore because I am a student who doesn't earn (TT). Guess I have to wait to get a job for me to buy more.

i recommend, shamanic healing oracle cards they are beautiful and overall my favorite. also the Black moon astrology cards are amazing. ShadowScapes tarot are really great. rumi oracle cards and hush tarot cards a great too.

By mistake, I bought The Muse as my first tarot deck, admittedly because I was swayed by the artwork. It has sat in a drawer largely unused as I go for the traditional Rider-Waite deck now to learn with until I feel more proficient at interpretations. I also have The Light Seers and Spirit Song decks, but felt disappointed with the Spiritsong cards as they are very small with very little colour. I'm in awe of Collette Baron Reid's Goddess Power oracle cards as well as A Yogic Path by Sahara Rose, these ones come in a magnetic box, and are very beautiful, but I'm almost too careful around them to properly play with them., the artwork is that gorgeous.^^ New to your channel and glad to be here :)
