Cheers! I have seen a few people online mentioning them. I'll pick one up! 👍

Love the video. Thumbs up! Been using tajima for approximately 15 years. They're hands down the best. Run smooth and the lines are crisp! Also love the stretchy line itself! You won't be disappointed

and yellow wiss tin snips. not left or right but straight haha. i use them a lot when i’m working especially steel framing but u can use them for alot of other things. it’s like extended finger pickers. lol

Yeah I've got the left and right tin snips in the tool box. I don't find I use them quite enough to justify their weight. 🤙

I've been using a tajima chalk line for 2 or 3 years now and it's the best line I've ever had, I highly recommend it. I'd like to try an ink line at some point I've heard good things about them
@viking.designs3 жыл бұрын
I scored a Milwaukee chaulk line off a while back. It's really nice, however it's massive so it's not great to carry around all day. I think I'll pick up the Tajima soon 🤙

I was a buck fan for years & my steelfixing belt is still buckaroo, but I went to a diamondback set-up a year ago and it’s the best thing ever! Organisation plus plus
@viking.designs3 жыл бұрын
I love the look of the diamondback belts! I am big on organisation. They also look fairly lightweight too!
@thegingerlandscaper35493 жыл бұрын
@@viking.designs they look lightweight and they are, but because they’re so organised you end up carrying more stuff & any weight savings are lost 😭

Late to the party, but I'm running a buckaroo rig with both their 'bespoke' pouches. Very good setup, but as I'm a DIY'er the temptation is to load up the belt which makes it as heavy as all get go. I had my back trashed in a car rollover back in '96, and the buckaroo system is the only setup that allows me wear it all day.
@viking.designs Жыл бұрын
Never to late man! Yeah the bespoke stuff looks great. The leather definitely gets heavy when fully loaded. There are also some really nice lightweight, nylon options now available too. Badger tool belts Obvious tool co Diamond back

check out the good rule. i swapped my 1m fold out for it and don't think I could go back. its a bit shorter only opens up to 600m, but gives you a 45 edge and makes 150's super quick to mark

2 questions Does the speed square fit ok in the upper pocket of the 4 bag. The one you keep your phone in? And from the pics online the 4 bag looks pretty tight. Do the pockets open up a bit as they age?

he forgot to mention it but I saw the Channel Lock brand nipping pliers in there, works arguably better than a cats paw for pulling nails.

Im really keen on being a carpenter and making this my career but im 32 with a dicky knee from skateboarding in my youth would this stop me from going into the industry?? And if not, hows the obvious setup going looking at going with that one?? Thanks Lewi

I'm an apprentice carpenter and trying to decide whether to get more frogs and bite the bullet and get a second bag, specifically the bespoke one. I currently have a 3 pocket bag on my left, then my combo square frog & tape frog in the middle and finally hammer & chisel frog on my right. Would really appreciate some advice.

You know what is said by experienced travelers about what to take along on trips. What you didnt need on the last trip should be left at home on the next trip. Same logic should apply with carrying all those unneeded tools all day. Dont forget, you can always say, Hey mate, can you flip me a mistake hook. I mean a cats paw. lol
