😊I am crazy about pouches and bags. I love them all. I have pouches for everything and bags, brief cases and backpacks for all different occasions. I use the brief cases for work of course. That is what they are used for nothing else. I have a few different kinds of brief cases too and a couple of them are hybrids. Nice to use it as a backpacks while commuting and then convert it back to brief case when I get to work. That way it doesn’t ruin my clothes. I do have an E.D.C. Carry utility backpack. It is a hybrid backpack that can transform to a bag. It is not a brief case. You can carry it like a brief but it is not at all a brief case. It is a big backpack that is convertible. Sense i have both bag and brief cases. I guess the question is what do i like using the most. Well, I have both and I use them for different occasions. I really enjoy carrying my brief cases. I love using a brief case cause it makes me look elegant and classy which I in my line of work as a pianist I need to look my best and the brief case really elevates my look. You never see me with a brief case though when I am going out to a barbecue place or just hanging around. Now when I go to a coffee shop yea. I will carry what i call my casual brief case. This one is used when I am conducting business/ and then having fun. Most of the brief cases though are used just for work. They come out when it is time for me to go to work. I do have a messenger bag too. I like using that and that goes with me when I am hanging out or going to work. It is kind of my all purpose messenger bag. It is not a brief case though. Just a big messenger bag and it is not hybrid…. It is just a big bag. Sense I own them all backpack, brief case, messenger bag, and a man bag, they all serve their purpose. I also have a huge and it is huge. Rolling brief case that is backpackable. It is not a hybrid but it does have backpack straps that come out. Love that thing. That case is a work horse and sshe will take anything you throw at her. Yes. All of my backpacks, and brief cases and messenger bags have girls names. By the way. Not all line of work requires you to have a brief case, but the line of work that does it really does make you look very serious and confident. I mean even just walking into a coffee shop with a brief case on your side makes you look like you got class. And people do respect you when they see you have a brief case. With the brief cases though you have to put the contents that you need in it and then just review what you have before you take it. You got to make sure that you have everything in it that you need.

We've used it for a month, and no problems yet. We like that there are many different pockets, diapers in one, wipes in another, and so forth. Lots of room, but still lightweight. It's great hanging from the stollers as well.

Very nice setup and video! I carry much of the same things, I EDC a GR1 as well, since 2011. Still going strong. I like the Fuji, I’ve always wanted one because I shoot regularly with a DSLR and a iPhone but would like a real lens for street photography. Also quick note on the Leatherman Juice S2 (I carry one regularly as well.) The scales aren’t plastic, they are actually Aluminum.

Thanks! Glad to hear the Goruck is still going steong after many years of use. Not surprised though, they are built like tanks! The Fuji is awesome but yeah you have to like that 23mm lens. You could however also go for a X-Pro Line of Camera plus whatever Fuji lens (focal length) you prefer and get an awesome package for street photography. :) Regarding the S2 i am positive that the scales on my are plastic. I know from watching reviews though that they have been making these with Aluminium scales in the past, so you are not wrong. However, they changed to plastic more recently (and shortened the blade), which makes it even worse in my mind knowing that they were using aluminium in the past. Still a great tool for EDC though and feel free to correct me if I am wrong here :)

Hallo Tobias, Schönes Thema :-) Was sich mir allerdings nie erschließen wird ist es eine Tasche in eine Tasche zu packen. ;-) Mir ist schon so oft aufgefallen, dass "EDC Menschen" (also die, die sich damit auseinander setzen) einen Hang zur Übertreibung haben. 2 Messer beispielsweise sind da eher die Regel - statt die Ausnahme. EVERYDAY CARRY bedeutet für mich ja eher nicht "hab ich ab und zu mal dabei" oder nehm ich mal zum shoppen / outdoor / whatever mit. Sucht man nun nach brauchbaren Tips und Anregungen für den täglichen Gebrauch - sind leider viele Videos völlig unbrauchbar :-) Da ist man am Ende eher für die Zombie-Apokalypse gewappnet, statt für den Büroalltag. Vielleicht nervt mich das auch alles nur weil ich grundsätzlich eher Minimalist bin :-) Trotzdem - toll gemachtes Video, es war sehr kurzweilig und ich freue mich schon auf mehr. Hallo Tim, Danke für den Denkanstoß! Für mich ist das alles schon so alltäglich, dass ich es gar nicht groß erkläre. Wäre bestimmt aber ein interessantes Video. ;) Bezüglich der Taschen meinst du vermutlich das Maxpedition Micro, die Kamera- und iPad Tasche sind ja recht selbsterklärend. Ich denke jeder hat da seine eigenen Gründe und Überlegungen, aber für mich geht es dabei vorrangig um Modularität und Vereinfachung von "Arbeitsabläufen". Wenn ich beispielsweise für einen Arbeitstag, einen Tagesausflug, eine Reise, Wanderung etc. packe, kann ich einfach auf die diversen Taschen zurückgreifen und diese in den Rucksack/die Tasche meiner Wahl entsprechend dem jeweiligen Zweck einbringen. Der Rucksack ist dabei für mich wirklich nur der "Behälter" für den Inhalt, der immer entsprechend den Bedürfnissen des jeweiligen Tages angepasst wird. So ist sichergestellt, dass ich immer alles Wichtige dabei hab und mich nicht ständig fragen muss, ob ich irgendetwas vergessen habe. Ob der jeweilige Inhalt angemessen oder übertrieben ist, bleibt natürlich Ansichtssache. ;) Hoffe das erklärt die Denkweise ein bisschen. Ich werde aber wohl bei Gelegeneheit ein kleines Video dazu machen, da es echt ein wichtiger und elementarer Bestandteil des ganzen EDC Themas ist. Viele Grüße und ebenfalls einen guten Rutsch! Das Garberg würde ich definitiv als Preis/Leistungs-Wunder empfehlen. Im Grunde habe ich nichts daran auszusetzen, außer dass die Materialen und Aesthetik sehr funktionell gehalten sind. Meiner Meinung nach ist das aber auch nichts schlechtes, vor allem zu dem Preis. Ich selbst habe das Messer in der Carbonstahl Version. Ich denke insbesondere im Frühjahr werde ich deutlich mehr Videos zum Bereich Outdoor/Camping/Wandern etc. machen. Eventuell bekommt auch das Garberg dann sein eigenes Review. ;)
