NOTE: There's no giveaways. I have not, and have never done a giveaway. Nor do I plan to anytime in the future. So if there are any suspicious accounts posing as me and doing a giveaway, it's not me. If you see this on any videos. Let me know as well. This is an ongoing issue for many creators that KZbin really needs to get under control.

I'm absolutely adding the little "first aid cord and adapter case" to my list of things to pick up before I go anywhere big. I actually just got (at Christmas) a water resistant techie backpack that I've been incredibly pleased with. As a digital artist and writer if I'm going to be gone for more than three days I'm bring my laptop (ASUS Tuf 15") and the little Galaxy 6S tablet I have for more general sketches before I need to import anything into my Corel suite. It's a pretty low cost alternative if you already don't have a lot of Apple products-I only have an iPhone and everything else is a range of devices. Because I'm carrying around a full sized laptop and don't do much photography (though I'm looking at starting, absolutely going to look into that Sony camera, since the only dedicated camera I have is a very old canon that can't have attached lenses) I'm not always needing an SSD, but I have a collection of Sabernet laptop/desktop SSD shells that have old parts that were too small but worked perfectly fine still despite needing an upgrade, so I occasionally toss those in there. I have a great alternative to the water/drink container if you're looking for something that won't spill: Contigo brand has everything from these cool 32oz bottles and depending on which one you get, you can get the little button you have to press to make water come out when you drink from it (and they all have little flip caps and clip handles) lock so nothing happens. I would recommend that kind (they look kind of like a giant soy sauce bottle o.O) over the Fit or the metal ones they have. The metal (both Fit and not) hold cold drinks amazingly well and if memory serves the metal Contigo Fit can safely hold hot drinks where as it's not advised for the standard metal bottle. I have these scattered all over my house because my cats are little demons who like to attempt to share water so having a rotating set of easy to clean metal and plastic 32oz bottles is a lifesaver even not on a trip. It's even better on a trip, through. I carry around a pair of Sennheisers, depending on what I'm doing. I do VO and dictation so I'm occasionally using Game Ones, or 550s instead of my HD450BTs that are more for entertainment than mic quality for direct recording. Also I'll bring an old Wacom tablet I have (which is smaller than my main, despite neither being full touch screens and are only pen directed) just in case something happens while everything is stuffed in my backpack. I also found that a universal headphone case I got works _really well_ as a mouse protector, a tablet pen protector, a wrist rest holder, art glove, and spare cord for said Wacom, if it needs to charge (it's so old it takes a mini-USB, not a micro, a mini.) I also have a mouse I drag along with me because I'm a lefty and if I'm doing any actual work, (or relaxation _Skyrim_) I utilize the Razer Naga Chroma Left Handed Edition to it's fullest-I highly recommend having like… three. One as a backup in case Razer ever stops making them again, one to live on your desk, and one for travel even if you _can_ use Universal Mice because it's just so nice to finally have an ergonomic mouse for your left hand. I also just recommend having some sturdy D clips on your various bags so you can make sure to clip them to things if you need to or hook them on to inner zippers on your backpack (I also put key rings on most of the inner zippers and have color coded D hooks that live on the bags/cases so I know my headphones are always silver and my mouse et al is always red, etc.) You also can have some D-clips to carry your shoes off your backpack strap if you're like me and normally wear tennis shoes/running shoes but have an easy slip off pair of vans or something if you're flying. Or you don't want to lose your sneakers on a road trip and you know your backpack isn't going anywhere. Only other thing I'd recommend that has to do with long haul road trips is potentially getting a power converter that can charge an _off_ laptop (if it's something like a gaming laptop like my Asus) or an on less power draining PC or Mac or tablet/iPad that plugs into your car's 12volt/cigarette lighter. Also, if you're road tripping I tend to toss a pocket knife I usually carry in the top pocket, along with bandaids and some twine I keep on hand, instead of keeping sunglasses in there. I find having access to stuff like that if you need to fix something in a pinch without digging out a dopkit or wherever you store your toiletries is really useful (along with travel packs of Advil, Imodium, Dramamine, and etc-two to four of each won't fill up the pocket and someone will thank you for it, I'm sure.) And… I think I'm out of what all is in my backpack remotely related to tech (I tend to toss a real sketchbook and some pencils in because I have the space if I'm going to be gone for more than five days-I like options!) and… yup! That's all I've got to say. :3 Thanks for the video, man!

Hehehe. Looks like a good travel EDC! I just got the zip version of this peak design everyday backpack and I’m LOVING the origami folders. I realised I was just throwing in all my KZbin camera gear (canon m50/ rode wireless go mics) into my regular backpack and it was a bit of a mess but deliberated for the longest time coz of the steep price. Plus I don’t consider myself a pro who needs a “real” camera bag, but honestly the flex folder/ origami dividers are a game-changer especially if you’re a bit OCD like me! Now you’ve got me thinking about that bellroy tech pouch. I have a see-through Muji pouch I use for tech storage which is handy when TSA hauls you out for all the electronics - they can see at a glance what’s in that pouch. Great vid, thanks!

I know my setup is ridiculous, but I have a 13” Peak Design Everyday Messenger Bag (V1 because the new version sucks) that carries my camera equipment which is a Fujifilm XT-4 with three lenses, filters, spare batteries and memory cards. Then I stuff the Peak Design Bag into the 45L Peak Design Travel Backpack along with my lunch pale, 13” MacBook Pro, 11” iPad Pro, tech pouch and basic office supplies. Then on the outside pockets I carry two water bottles. When I arrive for a photo shoot I secure the Travel Backpack, then take out the 13” PD Everyday Messenger and go straight to work.

If you want to look into a smaller form factor controller for travel, I would recommend the 8BitDo SN30 Pro, I believe in iOS mode it will show up as a PS4 controller, so it will still work in the PS Remote Play app, additionally, it makes for a great controller for the Switch in tabletop mode or as a second controller.

First of all , your video was soo fresh to me . You gave some really good ideas and recoms. Aren't you afraid if someones stealing your backpack they could just cut off the exposed air tag? Also I find it harder hearing the tag if its deep inside the bag (dont know if it'll affect reception) . What is the right balance ? I'm confused with this situation too I would add a small bluetooth speaker if I'm on shoots or just roaming to sort of have an ambient music for different moods
