Yes i really recommend hair laser removal, I am now at my third session, and my hair is so fine and grows very very slowly that sometimes I forget completely about my hair and shaving, also it got rid off ingrown hair and kp bumps, some tips : first shave a day before your session (SHAVE NOT WAX, NEVER WAX because the laser need to zap the hair follicle and wax rips the hair follicle out), don’t wear any lotion or even deodorant if you are doing your underarms just don’t have any product on your skin because it will get in the way of the laser (you can wear deodorant then wash it off in the clinic in the bathroom), aftercare make sure to prioritize moisturizing and slow down on the exfoliation and start wearing spf, during the session it feels like someone tapping something hot on your skin, it is painful mainly in the ankle,bikini, and underarm the rest is honestly bearable but the pain stops after the laser zap so it is not an on going pain you can use a numbing cream if it is too much or they could have cold air to help take your attention away from the pain or they would use an ice pack, also make sure the aesthetician is being very thorough because my first one was not, specifically in the bikini area she was very hasty therefore she missed many spots and those will have to get another session for which is wasting your time and money, also the amount of sessions you need varies from one person to another so it could be 4 or it could be 9 once a month and honestly it has helped my skin because I’m tired of razor burns and ingrown hair I couldn’t recommend it enough

My wax lady said laser hair removal doesn’t really work for women with melanin. As for some reason it’s actually the melanin which correlates with our hair growth but girl I was on the same thing with getting laser hair removal but I did have a consultant and they told me that it may not work and your hair could grow back faster

For laser hair removal (please note) lasir hair removal in the body is very effective but can vary in results based on hair thickness, density, and skin tone. As for your face, from my personal experience I would only recommend people to use laser on their face if they are over 35 years old and/or if they have already had kids and plan to no longer have kids or they are not planning to have kids in general. Only because my dermatologist told me facial hair is dependent on your bodies hormonal balance. So if you are younger than 35 your body if often going through hormonal changes which will cause hair to grow back. Also having kids causes hormonal changes that may also cause your facial hair to grow back even after you do laser. I did laser in my late teens 17-21 and after going though different hormonal changes and changes in birth control changes the facial hair started growing again. So if you are doing just your body you should be fine, your face is when it gets a little wonky. Again some women can do this and be okay, while others may struggle more. Everyone who is planning on doing this should always seek a dermatologist and their advice on the subject. 🩷🫶🏽
