I think threatening to take someone to court is fine but shaming them/ physically threatening them is not okay. It usually causes more problems for everyone. You should always pay 100 percent of owed money back. I’ve had partners not pay money back but what can you do at that point? It taught me not to lend it out in the first place.

I used to be friends with a woman, who did this all the time, she had her front door kicked and had her car keyed several times, and was always receiving nasty messages from men who felt like she was hustling them, because she was.
